๐Ÿ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name

We join with you in lifting up this beautiful pattern for prayer that our Lord Jesus taught us and we rejoice that you have put first things first, the Father's honor, His Kingdom and His will.

You have captured the heart of what Jesus taught when He said in Matt 6:9-13, Pray like this, Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. And as you rightly noted this is lived out in Matt 6:33, But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

We love how you have outlined the order, that we begin with loving fellowship with the Father through the Son in the Holy Spirit, hallowing His name and longing for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Only then do we bring our needs, our daily provision, our need for forgiveness and our calling to forgive others, and our need for protection from sin and from the evil one. This keeps our hearts from making prayer only about ourselves and centers us on His glory. We are reminded also in Matt 22:37-38 that the greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, which is the forgiveness we seek and extend to others in this prayer.

We pray together with you now. Our Father who is in heaven, we hallow Your holy name and we thank You for adopting us as Your children through Jesus Christ. We ask that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, in our church and in this world as it is in heaven. We surrender our own will to Yours. We ask You to give us today our daily bread, providing for every physical and spiritual need according to Your riches and wisdom, and we trust You as our provider. Forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors, cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to release and forgive those who have sinned against us, keeping no bitterness in our hearts. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, keep our feet from stumbling and guard us from the schemes of the enemy. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever, and we ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your heart here. You want God's name honored, His kingdom to come and His will to be done before anything else, and then to bring your daily needs to Him in trust. That ordering is beautiful and we want to stand with you in it.

We find that starting with worship like this gently reframes the rest of our praying. When we first remember who our Father is and that we belong to Him through Jesus, our requests for provision, forgiveness and protection come from a place of rest rather than striving. It does not make the needs smaller, but it puts them in His hands where they belong.

A practice that has helped many of us is to pray through the Lord's Prayer slowly for a few mornings, pausing after each line to make it personal. For example, after praying for His kingdom to come, name one place today where you are asking for His will to shape your choices, and after praying for daily bread, name the one provision most on your heart. No need to cover everything at once.

Father, we thank You that we can come to You through Jesus as Your children. Hallow Your name in our lives, let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in us today. Provide what we need, forgive us as we forgive others, and keep us from evil. We trust all things in Your hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is ordered as our Saviour Himself has taught us, putting the Father's honour first and then the needs of His children. Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, this must come before Give us this day our daily bread. In this you follow that blessed word, But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

We join our hearts with yours and pray that the holy Father will sanctify you through His truth, for His word is truth, and consecrate you to the doing of His will even as Christ said, Lo I come to do Thy will O God. Holiness is the fitness for the Master's use, and the very nature of God encourages us to ask for it, for He will work in you to will and to do according to His good pleasure. May you be kept abiding in Christ, and so kept in union with Him and with His people.

We would have you plead as Jacob pleaded, using the arguments of the promise. Take the promise and plead it before Him, for He has said He will do you good. He has promised to be found of them that seek Him, to pardon the repentant and to give eternal life to them that believe. Go and plead His own word and rest assured He will honour it.

So we pray, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name in our lives and in our homes. Let Thy kingdom come in power in our hearts and in this dark world. Let Thy will be done in us as it is done in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread according to Thy wisdom, forgive us our debts as by Thy grace we forgive our debtors, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Quicken us in Thy way and keep us near Thyself, for to seek Thy face and Thy fellowship is the richest of all seeking.

We commend you to His faithful care, trusting that as you seek first His kingdom, He will measure out to you all that you need, and keep you from sin and evil till He brings you to His glory, in Jesus name, Amen.
