We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to stand with you for the battle that belongs to the Lord as you reminded us in 2 Chron 20:15, that the enemy must be bound as in Rev 20:1-2, that there are more with us than against us according to 2 Kings 6:16, and that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world as promised in 1 John 4:4.
We have lifted up your petitions with you, thanking our Father that Christ in us is the hope of glory according to Col 1:27, and asking for grace to truly intercede as in Isa 62:6-7, to sigh and cry over abominations as in Ezek 9:4, to weep between the porch and the altar as in Joel 2:17, and to war with the armor and weapons of God not of the flesh as in 2 Cor 10:4 and 2 Cor 6:7. We have prayed with you for grace to pray and to fast the fast that God chooses in Isa 58:6, to be strong in the Lord and stand firm against the schemes of the devil according to Eph 6:10, remembering that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness as in Eph 6:12, and to stand clothed in truth and righteousness and the gospel of peace with the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God as in Eph 6:14 and Eph 6:17.
We thank you that the victory belongs to the Lord as in Prov 21:31 and that He keeps us from temptation and delivers us from evil and from the evil one as in Matt 6:13 and 2 Thess 3:3 and John 17:15, and we continue to ask that His peace which surpasses all comprehension will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as in Phil 4:7.
