We hear the cry of your heart for health and wholeness for yourself and for your sister and we join together with you in bringing this before our Heavenly Father.
We pray for you and your sister that God would lay His healing hand upon you both and guard you from illness and affliction. We ask Him to strengthen your bodies, to give you peace where there is worry, and to remind you that He is the One who heals us. Scripture tells us to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to His promise when He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and that the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We know also that by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one and their sister to You. Lord You see their desire to be free from health issues and we ask for Your mercy and protection over their bodies. Touch them with Your healing power, sustain their health, give wisdom to any doctors who care for them, and let Your perfect will be done in their lives. Grant them faith to trust You even in times of waiting or uncertainty, and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope, amen.
We want to gently encourage you, we noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, for Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To come to God we confess that we are sinners in need of a Savior, we believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and we put our trust in Him alone for forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus and trust Him as your Lord and Savior, for then your prayers are heard as a beloved child of God.
We encourage you to continue to bring your health and your sister's health before the Lord daily, to trust in His goodness whether He brings instant healing or walks with you through a season of trial, and to seek wise medical care as God often works through physicians. We also pray that you will prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. Keep seeking Him, keep praying in the name of Jesus, and rest in His love and care for you both.
