GOD

We hear your desperate cry to God for help and we join with you in bringing this urgent need before His throne together in Jesus' name. Even when words are few and the heart is overwhelmed, God hears the cry of those who call upon Him. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. And Psalm 46:1 reminds us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We understand your plea that no questions should come, and we sense the fear and anxiety behind those words, perhaps a fear of being interrogated, examined, accused, or put on the spot. We do not know the full situation you are facing, but God does, and He invites us to bring every worry to Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We want to gently share with you that you cried out to God, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Romans 10:13 says For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. To truly call upon God for help is to come through faith in His Son Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again, so that we can be forgiven and reconciled to God. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today, believing in Him with your heart and confessing Him as Lord.

We lift you up in prayer together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is crying out for help. You see the burden and the fear about questions coming, and You know every detail of the situation that we do not know. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength right now, that You would calm their heart and grant Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, if it is Your will, we ask that You would shield them from unjust or harmful questioning and that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that truth would prevail and that Your will would be done. Help them to trust You fully, to walk in honesty and integrity before You and before others, and to rest in Your care. Draw them close to Jesus, reveal Your Son to them, and help them to call upon the name of Jesus for salvation and for daily help. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our great intercessor, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to God through Jesus Christ, to read His Word, and to trust that He is present with you in this trouble. Keep seeking Him and He will give you wisdom and peace for whatever lies ahead.

We heard your urgent cry and we are praying for you right now. When your mind feels crowded with questions and worry, that longing for quiet and for the questions to stop is so understandable.

You do not have to have all the answers figured out to bring this to God. He sees the pressure you are under and He stays close even when thoughts feel overwhelming and loud.

One small step that can help when worry feels so heavy is to not carry it alone. Would you consider reaching out today to one trusted person, a pastor, a counselor, or a medical professional if the tension and worry feel hard to manage? Just saying out loud what is happening with someone who can listen and stay with you can make the burden feel less isolating, alongside prayer.

You matter to God and to us, and we will keep lifting you up.

Father, we bring our friend to You right now. You know the questions and fears pressing in. Would You draw near with Your calm and presence, give wisdom for next steps, and surround them with caring support. Help them to sense they are not alone and to find rest in Your care. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
