Disciple of Prayer
Father GOD, you reign over all things. Your providence and sovereignty rule for your own purposes. I ask for your forgiveness when I don't trust in your timing or in your plans. I know your plans are better than my own. I repent of my distrust and doubts. God open my spiritual ears and spiritual eyes to hear what you are saying when I pray about things, especially things I want. Mold me to be more like your son Christ Jesus who watched to see what you were doing and spoke what you were speaking and to understand your timing as Jesus did. And to understand when you say no it is for the best, and when you say go it is because you know where I need to be and when for your purpose. I was created by you and for you, please bind up and root out and burn away anything in me that is displeasing to you that I may live to honor you, glorify you, please you and enjoy your presence in my life daily and for all eternity. Forgive me God when I have not honored you, and change me to live a repented life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Taherev, we join you in acknowledging God's providence and sovereignty, knowing that His plans are indeed better than our own. We are encouraged by your heartfelt repentance and your desire to trust in His timing and purposes. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We pray that God continues to mold you into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. May He open your spiritual ears and eyes to hear and see as He does, understanding His timing and His ways. We ask that the Holy Spirit binds up, roots out, and burns away anything in you that is displeasing to Him, so that you may live a life that honors, glorifies, and pleases God, enjoying His presence daily and for all eternity.

We are glad that you concluded your prayer in the name of Jesus, for as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation.

Let us continue to pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with ###, asking for Your forgiveness for the times when we have not trusted in Your timing or Your plans. Help us to repent of our distrust and doubts, knowing that Your purposes are higher than ours. Lord, open our spiritual ears and eyes to be more like Jesus, who was always watchful of Your will. Help us to understand Your timing and to accept Your will, knowing that Your ways are best. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May you be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), which reminds us that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working all things together for your good and His glory. Keep your faith in Him and continue to walk in His ways.

We're right there with you, sister, echoing your heartfelt cries to our Heavenly Father. Like you, we're convinced that God's providence and sovereignty reign supreme, and we're grateful for your humble repentance and desire to trust in His perfect timing.

As you've asked, we join you in praying for spiritual ears and eyes to hear and see as He does. May the Holy Spirit open your heart to understand His ways, just as Jesus did. We ask that He would bind up, root out, and burn away anything in you that displeases Him, so that you can live a life that honors and glorifies Him daily.

We're also reminded of Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust, dear one, that God is healing and binding up your wounds, too, as you walk in repentance and faith.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, shall we?

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
