Beloved
🙏 Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... 🙌 Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this cry for God’s sovereign intervention over the earth. The Scriptures declare, "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it" (Psalm 24:1). We stand on this truth, affirming that no power, no principality, no scheme of man or devil can thwart the purposes of the Almighty. You alone rule over the kingdoms of this world, and we humbly ask You to restrain the evil one, as You did in the days of Daniel, when the angel declared, "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me" (Daniel 10:13). We plead for Your heavenly host to intervene now, intercepting the plans of the enemy before they take root, just as You revealed the schemes of Syria to Elisha and the plots of Saul to David (2 Kings 6:12; 1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42).

Father, we bind the spirit of retaliation that fuels cycles of violence and vengeance among nations. Your Word warns us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12). We ask You to back the evil one away from leaders and strategists, breaking his influence over their hearts and minds. Let the power of praise and worship rise as a weapon against darkness, for "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). As David’s harp drove away the distressing spirit from Saul (1 Samuel 16:23), we declare that the name of the Lord will be praised from the rising to the setting of the sun (Psalm 113:3), and the enemy’s plans will be scattered like chaff in the wind.

We pray for the leaders of our own nation and all nations, that You would guide them according to Your will, for "the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes" (Proverbs 21:1). Lead them not into temptation, but deliver them from evil, as we are taught to pray (Matthew 6:13). We are not ignorant of the devil’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), knowing he is a murderer and liar from the beginning (John 8:44). Yet we do not lose heart, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and we wield it in the name of Jesus, who has already disarmed principalities and powers through the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Lord, we confess that the Church has often failed to be the helpmeet You designed her to be (Genesis 2:18). Forgive us for passivity, for division, for seeking our own agendas rather than Your kingdom. We are called to be a holy nation, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), imitating Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). We repent for the times we have neglected this calling, and we ask You to stir us afresh to pray, to act, and to speak with boldness. As Jesus promised, "Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do" (John 14:12). Let us walk in this truth, abiding in You so that our prayers may be answered (John 15:7).

We ask You to spoil the enemy’s plans, turning them back upon his own head, so that all things may conform to Your perfect will. We confess our own sins and the sins of our nation, pleading for mercy as Daniel did (Daniel 9:20). We intercede for all in authority, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Even now, we declare that the evil one is restrained, as You have promised to bind him with a great chain (Revelation 20:2), though we know his final defeat is yet to come. Until then, we rejoice not in temporary victories, but in the salvation that is ours in Christ (Luke 10:20).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our cry. We thank You for the authority we have in Jesus’ name to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We thank You that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18). And we thank You that one day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Until that day, we will continue to pray, to praise, and to stand firm in the faith, knowing that You are sovereign over all. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

What a mighty prayer you have poured out for the nations. We can feel the weight of your heart for God’s reign and your deep desire to see evil restrained and leaders guided. It’s clear you spend time in the Word, letting Scripture shape your intercession, and that is a gift to the body of Christ.

When the world’s chaos feels overwhelming, we often find ourselves grasping for ways to make a difference. Your prayer reminds us that one of the most powerful things we can do is exactly what you are doing: standing before the throne, asking God to act according to His promises. We’ve seen that even in the darkest moments of history, God has moved in response to the cries of His people, often in ways we only recognize later.

Because you carry such a large vision for the nations, it might be easy to become discouraged or feel alone. We would encourage you to stay anchored in a local community that shares your passion for prayer, gathering with a few others to lift up world leaders and troubled regions can sustain your hope. Also, remember that the same God who rules over nations also cares about the quiet work of grace in your own heart. Sometimes the renewal we long to see globally begins as we deepen our own walk of surrender.

We join you in bringing these burdens to our Father.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this prayer warrior who aches for Your righteous rule over all the earth. Strengthen them to keep praying without losing heart. Restrain the forces of evil that seek to devour nations, and guide leaders toward decisions that allow Your truth and peace to flourish. We ask especially for the salvation of many in authority, that they would bow to You as King. And in the waiting, give this dear saint a deep sense of Your presence and a sure confidence that every prayer whispered in faith reaches Your ears and moves Your hand. In Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. Do not question it, for the prayer of Christ is of this character. When you plead for the nations, for kings and all in authority, for the cessation of war and the prevalence of peace, you touch the very heart of your Lord. He ever lives to make intercession, and your cry rises as incense before the throne.

See how the Apostle urges precision in prayer, praying for something distinctly. You have laid hold of the very promises: restraining evil, guiding leaders, spoiling the devil’s plans until they conform to God’s will. This is no vague wish but a wrestle with the Most High. The power of prayer is an ascertained force, and when God’s children cry to Him for the conversion of the ungodly or the binding of the strong man, heaven stoops to earth. Think of what God has worked for us in days past when we were few and our souls were in agony of prayer. Would He not do so again?

And mark this: the Sovereignty of God is the sheet-anchor of such pleading. The nations are as a drop in a bucket; He determines their appointed times and boundaries. Nothing ought to stir the children of God more than this, that their Master has dominion over all creation. If salvation is all of grace, then even the restraint of evil and the gift of peace flow from that same sovereign hand. Go then to the King’s court, not with merit in your hand, for you have none, but with the boldness of a child who knows the Father’s heart. Cry, “Lord, help! Turn us, O God of our salvation, and revive us again!”

Do not neglect the confession of sin, personal, social, national, for hidden sin restrains prayer. But when you lay all bare before the mercy seat, then sweet liberty comes. Pray for the leaders and for the unruly countries with this importunity: “Will You not revive us?” And let the prayer be as the woman’s of Canaan: “Lord, help me!”, for you are one with those for whom you plead. This prayer will suit every place and every burden. It is the prayer for everybody, and it opens the gates of heaven.

Only look again to the cross. All this intercession hangs upon the Atonement of our Savior. Righteousness goes before Him and sets us in the way of His steps. The God of peace will be with you, for He is faithful. The fruit of the tree of life is for the healing of the nations, and one day the full chain shall bind the dragon. Until then, show your gratitude by praying for others, and know that in Christ the simple method of salvation is still proclaimed: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” Amen.
