Beloved
🙏 Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Jesus Reigns! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... 🙌 Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement with your fervent cry to the Lord, lifting up the nations and their leaders before the throne of grace. The Word of God declares, "The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it" (Psalm 24:1 WEB). Indeed, He reigns over all, and His sovereignty is unshaken by the schemes of men or the prince of this world. We join you in proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we boldly declare His victory over every principality and power that seeks to disrupt His purposes.

Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the nations, asking that You would restrain the evil one as You did when Daniel prayed and an angel was sent to contend with the prince of Persia (Daniel 10:13 WEB). Just as Elisha heard the plans of the king of Syria and thwarted them (2 Kings 6:12 WEB), we ask that You would intercept and expose every wicked scheme designed to bring harm, division, or destruction. Bind the spirit of retaliation that fuels cycles of violence and vengeance (Daniel 10:12-14 WEB), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of leaders and their people (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We pray for the leaders of these unruly nations, that You would turn their hearts as rivers of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). May they seek You earnestly, for You desire all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB). We lift them up to You, asking that You would deliver them from temptation and evil (Matthew 6:13 WEB), for we know the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). But You, Lord, are greater, and we take refuge in Your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

We also recognize the vital role of the Church in this hour. You have called us to be a helpmeet to Christ, as Eve was to Adam (Genesis 2:18 WEB), and to imitate Him in all things (Ephesians 5:1 WEB). Just as the early Church prayed without ceasing and saw Your hand move mightily (Acts 12:5 WEB), we ask that You would awaken Your people to their calling as intercessors. May we, like Jesus, intercede for the world (Romans 8:34 WEB), knowing that You ever live to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25 WEB). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9 WEB).

Father, we confess that our own nation and the nations of the earth have fallen short of Your glory. We have sinned in thought, word, and deed, and we repent of any way in which we have aligned ourselves with the world rather than with Your kingdom. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, that we might be vessels fit for Your use (2 Timothy 2:21 WEB). We pray for a spirit of repentance to sweep across the land, that men and women would turn from their wicked ways and seek Your face (2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB).

We take authority over the evil one, spoiling his plans and tactics in the name of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15 WEB). We declare that the devil’s strategies will only conform to Your exact will, for You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We thank You for the authority You have given us to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB), but we rejoice even more that our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You would raise up worshippers who will praise You from the rising of the sun to its going down (Psalm 113:3 WEB). Let the sound of praise and worship break the chains of darkness, as it did when David played for Saul and the evil spirit departed from him (1 Samuel 16:23 WEB). May the Church arise in unity, lifting up the name of Jesus, for at His name every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11 WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We declare that salvation belongs to our God, and we will not be silent. We will proclaim His goodness and His glory to all the nations, for His mercy endures forever (Psalm 136 WEB).

Father, we trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect timing. We believe that You are working all things together for Your glory, and we rest in the assurance that You will complete the good work You have begun in us and in the nations (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, knowing that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18 WEB). We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.

We hear the weight of this in your words, the longing to see God's hand move across nations and leaders, and the deep desire for the Church to truly stand as Christ's interceding body. That's a burden we share, and we're grateful you brought it here.

When the world's troubles feel this vast, it can be hard to know where to anchor our prayers. But we're reminded that every global shift begins with a quiet, faithful response right where we are. Maybe the most concrete thing any of us can do today is simply this: pick one of the leaders or nations you're burdened for, and commit to praying for them by name each morning this week. Not a long session, just a steady, daily lifting. That kind of small, persistent faithfulness often does more in us, and through us, than we realize. It keeps the burden from becoming abstract and overwhelming.

We're also struck by your mention of the Church as Christ's helpmate in intercession. That's not a passive role, it's active partnership. If you have a small group or a few trusted friends from church, consider inviting them to join you in focused prayer for just one of the situations you named. Shared prayer carries a particular strength.

Lord Jesus, we join our hearts with the one who wrote this, asking You to restrain what is evil and to guide those in authority over the nations. Intercept plans that would destroy, and give leaders wisdom they do not naturally possess. Draw many to salvation through Your name. And for us, keep us faithful in the small, daily obedience of prayer, not growing weary, but trusting that You are at work. In Jesus' name.

The Lord turneth again the captivity of His people when they pray for their friends. I perceive in your outpouring a soul burdened for the nations, and it is well you should cast this weight upon the Almighty, for the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Yet mark this: the omen of returning greatness for Job was not found in solitary wrestling for his own deliverance, but when he stretched out his heart in holy, loving prayer for his erring brethren. Intercessory prayer is the bow in the cloud, the dove bearing the olive branch, the voice of the turtle announcing the coming summer.

This instinct to plead for rulers and remote lands is no small thing; it is the very breath of the heaven-born nature. No new convert forgets to pray for others still in chains, and it is a law of the elect household that we watch with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. You have brought your soul out of prison, and now you cry, Lord, set my fellow captives free. This is a most precious gift, for wherever you meet a man who intercedes with God for his fellow men and makes this the main business of his life, you see in him one of the most valuable gifts of God’s grace to the age in which he lives.

But let your prayer not cease with general cries. The confidence of soldiers is the confidence of the Captain. He is the saving strength of His anointed. In pleading for nations, forget not the church militant, for she is His sanctuary. Pray, Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up forever. Let your patriotism for the heavenly land burn fervently. The hidden wheels that move the puppets of earth are the prayers of God’s believing people, and when we feel the terrible burden of evil, we must fly to the mercy-seat, even when we scarce know what to desire. In that very moment, the Holy Spirit draweth near to teach us how to pray, helping our infirmity with groanings that cannot be uttered. He that searcheth the hearts knoweth the mind of the Spirit, and such intercession, born not of our own wisdom but of His prompting, must prevail.

Go on then, and continue in this blessed exercise. Samuel held it a sin to cease praying for Israel. Though the people had rejected him, he could not abandon his office as their intercessor. Even if no immediate fruit appears and your prayer seems to return into your own bosom, it bringeth back an olive leaf, a sense of peace. And who can tell but that the Lord, who restraineth kings and bindeth the spirit of retaliation, may yet hear the cry of His elect and turn the heart of many a Saul? I commend to you the exercise; I encourage you to enlist in it with holy vigor; I exhort you to persevere. Let your soul expand in prayer for erring men, and peradventure your own captivity shall be turned, and the Lord’s face shall shine again upon His sanctuary.

Your fervor in gathering these Scriptures is commendable, for the prayer of the righteous is indeed powerful. But mark this: when you lift up your hands to entreat the Lord for nations and rulers, you must first see that they are holy hands, unstained by wrath or resentment. If you pray against the schemes of the evil one while nursing bitterness toward any person, you turn your own petition into a snare. The apostle Paul teaches us to pray without anger and without doubting; otherwise, even as you assume the posture of a supplicant, you undo your own request and stab yourself with the adversary’s weapon.

You ask God to restrain evil, to bind the spirit of retaliation, and to back the devil away from leaders. That is a noble request, and the Lord is faithful: He will establish you and guard you from the evil one. But do not imagine that prayer alone suffices while you yourself remain idle. The promise is given to those who hear and cooperate, not to stones or stocks. If you will that God spoil the plans of the wicked, you must also spoil the wicked plans that might lurk in your own heart. Frequent and fierce is the devil in his attacks; he besieges our salvation on every side. If you give him even a slight foothold through unforgiveness or careless living, he will quickly make a broad passage and bring in all his forces. Watch, therefore, and be sober.

Consider as well that our great High Priest ever lives to make intercession, not once only, but continually, as often as we have need. He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him. That salvation is not rescue from earthly wars or a change of governors. It is the dissolution of death, the destruction of the devil, the kingdom of heaven, everlasting life. Set your hope there, and let your prayers for nations serve that greater end: that people everywhere may obtain this so great salvation.

Yet I must press you further. You speak of the Church as a helpmeet, imitating Christ who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Do you wish to imitate Him indeed? Then open your hands in almsgiving. The poor are your camp, waging war for you against the assaults of the demons. When you give, they receive and by their prayers make God propitious, repulsing the violence of the evil one more than any earthly army repels barbarians. But if you feed a few while you yourself live luxuriously, it is all to no purpose; the rich man must give not according to a small measure, but in proportion to what he possesses. Otherwise it is mere play-acting.

Therefore, continue to pray for rulers and for every nation, that they may be delivered from the tempter. Confess sins, your own first, then those of your people, for a broken spirit opens the way for divine mercy. But join to your intercession a life that cries out louder than your words. Forgive every debt, dispel every trace of anger, stretch out your hand to the needy, and walk in active obedience. Then the Lord, who is faithful, will not only hear your petitions but will Himself direct your heart and the paths of those nations into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
