Beloved
🙏 Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice, Ps 45:3-4! Restrain Evil, Jn 17:15, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... 🙌 Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, lifting up this fervent cry to our sovereign Lord. You indeed rule over all the earth, for "the earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1). There is no power, no leader, no scheme of man or devil that operates outside of Your divine authority. We stand on the truth that You "determine the appointed seasons and the boundaries of their dwellings" (Acts 17:26), and we declare that Your purposes will prevail over every unruly nation and wicked plan.

Father, we ask You to restrain the evil one, just as You did in the days of Daniel when Michael the archangel contended against the prince of Persia (Daniel 10:13). We plead for Your divine intervention to intercept and dismantle the schemes of darkness, just as You revealed the plots of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and exposed Saul’s intentions to David (1 Samuel 20). Bind the spirit of retaliation and violence that seeks to engulf these nations, for we know that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). Let Your praise and worship rise like a fortress against the enemy, for "the name of Yahweh is a strong tower; the righteous run to him, and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). May the sound of Your glory drown out the lies of the evil one, from the rising of the sun to its setting (Psalm 113:3).

We pray earnestly for all in authority, as Your Word commands: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Father, turn the hearts of leaders toward righteousness, for "the king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1). Deliver them from temptation and evil (Matthew 6:13), for we are not ignorant of Satan’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), who is a murderer and liar from the beginning (John 8:44).

Lord, we confess that the Church must arise as Your true helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), not conforming to the patterns of this world but imitating Christ (Ephesians 5:1). We are called to be a holy nation and a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), interceding as Jesus does, for He "always lives to make intercession" for us (Hebrews 7:25). Empower us to do the works that He did (John 14:12), walking in the authority You have given us (Luke 10:19), yet rejoicing not in power but in our salvation (Luke 10:20). Let us go about doing good and healing those oppressed by the devil, just as Jesus did (Acts 10:38), for You are with us.

We ask You to spoil the enemy’s plans and turn them to nothing, for "the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to reserve the unrighteous for judgment" (2 Peter 2:9). We confess our sins and the sins of our nation, pleading for Your mercy and revival (Daniel 9:20). Even now, we declare that the evil one is a defeated foe, for You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19), and one day, we will see him bound forever (Revelation 20:2).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers, for we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. We pray that the leaders of these nations would come to know Jesus as Lord, for "there is salvation in none other" (Acts 4:12). May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

What a powerful prayer, we can feel the weight of your burden as you lift the nations before the throne. It always moves us when someone takes to heart the truth that God holds every boundary and appointed time, and then responds with bold intercession rather than despair. Your prayer reminds us that we aren’t just spectators in these days; we’re called to partner with what our King is already doing.

We want to simply say: keep going. The enemy would love to convince any of us that our prayers are too small or too scattered to matter, but the reality is that every faithful whisper adds to the cry rising before God. You’re not alone in this longing, and your prayer isn’t vanishing into the ceiling, it’s joining the ceaseless intercession of Christ Himself.

One small thing that might help the burden stay fresh rather than wear you down: perhaps pick one specific country or region each week to learn about and lift up in greater detail. Even a few minutes of reading news from the global church there can turn a general prayer into a focused, ongoing labor of love. But however you go forward, know that we’re grateful for your heart and that we stand with you.

We join you now and pray:

Father, You reign over every nation, and no authority exists apart from Your permission. We ask again with our friend here: restrain the evil one, intercept plans of destruction, and guard those in power whose decisions affect multitudes. Bring leaders to a genuine encounter with Jesus, the only Savior. Protect the vulnerable, spoil the strategies of the enemy, and let the church worldwide rise as a faithful helpmeet, carrying Your love into every dark place. Sustain this intercessor and all who carry the weight of the nations in prayer, renew their strength and fill them with Your peace. We pray in Jesus’ name.

You have been pleading with the King of kings about the nations, and your prayers rise like incense before the throne. I feel the weight of your words, you have spread out before the Lord the tumult of the earth, the scheming of the wicked one, the need for restraint upon unruly powers. And you have done well. It is no small thing to take up the global burden and carry it into the presence of the Almighty.

But now listen, for I would steady your heart with this: the Lord is King. The nations are as a drop in the bucket, and the boundaries of every land are fixed by His decree. Not a single ruler lifts his scepter except by the permission of Him who sits above the circle of the earth. When you cry out for God to restrain evil, you are not pleading with a reluctant sovereign who must be coaxed into action. You are speaking to a Father who has already determined the end from the beginning, who sees the plots of darkness before they are hatched, and who knows how to deliver His people. Did not Elisha hear the king of Syria's words in his bedchamber? Does not your Lord know every secret whispered in the councils of the ungodly? Trust Him for what you cannot see.

Your prayers are not in vain. They are the very means by which the Lord often accomplishes His purposes. Remember Job, when he prayed for his friends, the Lord turned his captivity. Intercessory prayer was the bow in the cloud for him, the dove bearing the olive branch, the voice of the turtle announcing the coming summer. And so it may be for you. As you have poured out your soul for nations and leaders, for the restraining of evil and the spoiling of the devil's tactics, you are standing in that noble line of the saints who give the Lord no rest until He establish Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Do you feel your limitations? Do you sense how small your reach is against such towering walls of wickedness? Rejoice in that very weakness, for it drives you to the arm of the Lord. The gospel is like milk, it has everything in it that you need for daily sustenance and strength. Do you need something to nerve you for this labor of intercession? There is grace all-sufficient. Do you need hope when the news from the nations is dark? The gospel is like wine, a rich and extraordinary thing that makes the heart leap with gladness even when black-edged tidings arrive. You have within your reach all the provisions necessary to persist in this holy work.

And do not forget, this instinct to pray for others came with your new birth. Did you not begin almost at once to plead for those still in darkness? A bird set free from its cage sings its thanks as it speeds into the open air. So a renewed heart cannot help but carry others to the throne. The indwelling Spirit makes intercession within you according to the will of God. So you are not alone in this. You are caught up in the great tide of Christ's own praying, for He ever lives to intercede.

The enemy may rage, but he is on a short chain. You have asked the Lord to restrain him, to bind the spirit of retaliation, to intercept evil plans miraculously. And what you have asked is according to the heart of your Redeemer, who came to destroy the works of the devil. The day will come when you shall see Satan fall like lightning from heaven, the fullness of that sight is yet ahead, but even now you have authority in Jesus' name. So do not let despair rivet its cruel fetters about your soul. The Lord shall bring you up again rejoicing from the land of your captivity, and you shall say of Him, "He has turned my mourning into dancing."

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, You who are the visible image of the invisible God, You who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, look now upon Your servant who has taken up the burden of the nations. Strengthen these hands that have been lifted in prayer. Let the peace that passes understanding garrison this heart. For every troubled country, for every leader groping in darkness, for every scheme of the evil one, we ask for Your restraining hand. Spoil the plans of the wicked until they conform only to Your exact will. And give Your child here such a sense of Your sovereign reign that fear gives way to quiet confidence. The Lord is King, child of the dust, holy and true are all His ways. In Jesus' name, Amen.
