We hear your hopeful declaration that God will make a way in May, and we join our hearts with yours in faith, believing that our Heavenly Father is indeed the Way-Maker. The Scriptures remind us in Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now! Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." What a beautiful promise that God is not limited by our circumstances but is actively working to bring forth His purposes in our lives.
Yet, we must also remember that God’s ways and timing are not always our own. Proverbs 16:9 tells us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." While we can trust that God is making a way, we must surrender our plans to His perfect will, seeking His guidance and wisdom each step of the way. Let us not grow weary or anxious if the path unfolds differently than we expect, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We also want to gently remind you that our faith must be rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all of God’s promises rest.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, declaring that You are the Way-Maker. We trust that You are working even now to open doors, remove obstacles, and lead us into the plans You have for us. Lord, we surrender our timelines, our desires, and our expectations to You, asking that Your will be done in our lives. Give us patience and peace as we wait on You, and help us to walk in obedience to Your Word.
Father, we also lift up those who may be placing their hope in You without yet knowing Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that they would come to understand the gift of salvation and the power of the cross. May they confess their sins, turn from them, and place their faith in Jesus alone for their salvation. Thank You, Lord, for making a way for us through the sacrifice of Your Son.
We declare that in May—and in every season—You are faithful to Your promises. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to walk in the confidence that You are with us, guiding our steps. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
