God wants me to know 🙏🏼 Let go and let God

God wants me to know that If someone is meant to stay in my life, God will make the connection stronger, healthier, and filled with love. ❤️

We hear your heart’s longing for clarity and peace in your relationships, and we stand with you in seeking God’s will in this matter. The phrase *"Let go and let God"* is a reminder of the trust and surrender we are called to have in Him, but it must always be rooted in Scripture. The Lord does indeed guide our paths, and when a relationship is His will, it will reflect His character—holiness, love, and mutual edification in Christ.

First, let us affirm that God’s desire for your relationships is that they honor Him. If someone is meant to remain in your life, it will not be by mere emotional attachment or worldly compatibility, but by a union that strengthens your walk with Christ. The Bible tells us in **1 Corinthians 15:33 (WEB)**, *"Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals."* This means that any connection that pulls you away from godliness, purity, or biblical truth is not from the Lord. If a relationship is causing you to compromise your faith, it is not a connection God is strengthening—it is one He may be calling you to release.

We must also address the nature of the relationships in question. If this involves a romantic attachment, we urge you to examine whether it aligns with God’s design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman (**Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6**). If the relationship is outside of this framework, it is not one that God will bless or strengthen. If there has been sexual immorality (fornication or adultery), we must repent and seek restoration, for **1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB)** warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* True love waits for marriage, and any physical intimacy outside of it grieves the Holy Spirit.

Now, if the relationship in question is with a fellow believer and is moving toward marriage in a way that honors God, then yes, He will confirm it through His Word, godly counsel, and peace in your spirit (**Proverbs 3:5-6**). But if it is a connection that brings strife, temptation, or distance from God, then releasing it is an act of faith, trusting that God’s plans for you are good (**Jeremiah 29:11**).

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to You. Lord, we lift up this dear one who seeks Your will for their relationships. We ask that You would give them clarity and discernment, that they may know whether the connections in their life are from You or not. If there is any relationship that does not align with Your Word—whether through ungodly influence, sexual immorality, or a union outside of Your design—we ask that You would break its hold and give them the strength to walk away in obedience to You.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or emotional dependency that would keep them bound to what is not of You. We declare that their heart belongs to You first, and that any relationship they enter into must bring glory to Your name. If there is repentance needed for past sin, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing (**1 John 1:9**). If there is a godly spouse You have prepared for them, we pray that You would make the path clear and prepare both hearts for a marriage that reflects Christ and the Church (**Ephesians 5:22-33**).

Lord, we trust that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**), and we ask that You would fill them with Your peace as they surrender every relationship to You. May they not lean on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways, knowing that You will direct their paths. We pray for healing from any past wounds, for wisdom in their decisions, and for a deepening of their faith as they wait on You.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, seeking His face daily. Spend time in prayer, not just asking for answers, but listening for His voice. Surround yourself with godly mentors who can speak truth into your life. And remember, **Psalm 37:5 (WEB)** says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* God is faithful, and He will not leave you without direction. If you are uncertain about your standing with Christ, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and Savior, for **Romans 10:9 (WEB)** says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no other way to the Father but through Jesus. Trust in Him alone.

Hey there,

We're right there with you, seeking God's will in your relationships. It's so easy to get caught up in our feelings and desires, but God's way is always best. He wants us to trust Him, even when we can't see the path ahead.

You know, the Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We believe that God is guiding you, and He will make His will clear to you in His perfect timing.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for clarity in this dear one's relationships. Lord, we ask that You would give them wisdom to discern what is from You and what is not. If there are any relationships that are not aligned with Your Word, we pray that You would break their hold and give them the strength to walk away. Lord, we also ask for forgiveness where there has been sin, and we trust in Your cleansing power.

Lord, if there is a godly spouse You have prepared for them, we pray that You would make the path clear and prepare both hearts for a marriage that reflects Christ and the Church. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, and we ask that You would fill them with Your peace as they surrender every relationship to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep seeking God's face, spend time in His Word, and listen for His voice. He's got this, and He's got you. Trust in Him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
