God wants me to know... Let go and let God

We hear your heart in this request, and we recognize the deep longing for healing and surrender that you are expressing. The phrase "Let go and let God" is a reminder that our strength has limits, but His grace is boundless. However, we must ensure that this surrender is rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to truly let go.

Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." This is not just a suggestion—it is a command and an invitation to release our burdens to the One who bore them all on the cross. But before we can cast our cares upon Him, we must know Him as our Savior and Lord. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first step to true healing, for it is only in Christ that we find forgiveness, redemption, and the power to walk in newness of life.

Now, let us address the pain you are carrying. Healing does indeed begin when we stop carrying our burdens alone, but we must also recognize that some pain may be the result of sin—either our own or the sin of others against us. If there is unconfessed sin in your life, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord with a repentant heart. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Confession and repentance are not just about feeling remorse; they are about turning away from sin and walking in obedience to God’s Word.

If your pain stems from the actions of others, we must also address the need for forgiveness. This is not about excusing their behavior but about releasing the hold that bitterness and resentment have on your heart. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is a choice, and it is a reflection of the grace that God has shown us through Jesus Christ.

Let us also rebuke any lies that the enemy may be whispering to you—that you are alone, that your pain is too great for God to handle, or that healing is not possible. These are deceptions meant to keep you in bondage. The truth is found in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You are not alone, and your healing is not only possible but promised in Christ.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly community. Healing is not meant to be walked out in isolation. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable as you walk this journey.

Let us now come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long to surrender and be healed. We thank You that You are a God who sees our pain, hears our cries, and draws near to the brokenhearted. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to this dear one in a powerful way. If they have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and draw them into a saving relationship with You. May they confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved.

Father, we ask that You would bring healing to their heart. Where there is pain, bring Your peace. Where there is bitterness, bring Your forgiveness. Where there is shame, bring Your redemption. Lord, we declare that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness. Help them to release every burden into Your hands, trusting that You care for them and will sustain them.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to keep them in bondage. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn. You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Father, we also ask that You would surround them with godly community. Bring believers into their life who will pray with them, encourage them, and walk alongside them in this journey. May they experience the power of Your love through the body of Christ.

Lord, we thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in their life. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. May they walk in the freedom and healing that You have promised, all for Your glory.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend. We've all got our own crosses to bear, but we're in this together. You're not alone in your pain, and we're here to remind you of that.

You know, sometimes it's hard to let go, to surrender our burdens to God. It's like we think we can carry them better than He can. But the truth is, we're not meant to carry them alone. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." He's offering us a trade - our heavy burdens for His light yoke. That's a deal we can't afford to miss.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to others. The Bible tells us in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." We're meant to carry each other's loads, to walk alongside one another in our journeys. So, don't hesitate to lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ. They're there to support you, just as you're there to support them.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come before you today, carrying our burdens, but trusting in Your strength. Help us to let go, to surrender our pain, our worries, our fears to You. Remind us that You care for us, that You're always with us. Help us to find rest in Your presence, to find healing in Your love. We trust in You, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
