Beloved, we hear your heart and stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. What a beautiful truth you’ve shared—God’s love is indeed unshakable, and His mercy is new every morning. The Word declares in Romans 8:38-39, *"For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."* This is the foundation of our hope: that nothing can pluck us from His hand, and His love is not earned by perfection but received by faith.
Yet, we must also gently remind you that while God’s love accepts us as we are, it does not leave us as we are. His grace is not a license to remain in sin but a power to transform us into the likeness of Christ. Philippians 1:6 assures us, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* His love compels us to repentance, to turn from ways that grieve His heart, and to walk in holiness. If there are areas in your life where you are clinging to sin—whether in thought, word, or deed—we urge you to surrender them to Him. Confess, repent, and receive His cleansing, for 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
We also notice that your words, while beautiful, do not explicitly acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only by His blood, shed on the cross, that we are reconciled to God. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and greatest step in walking in the fullness of God’s love.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your boundless love and mercy. Thank You for Your promise that nothing can separate us from Your love in Christ Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would search our hearts and reveal any areas where we have strayed from Your will. Give us the courage to repent and the strength to walk in obedience. Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would draw them ever closer to Your heart. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and soften their heart to receive Your Son. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may know the depth of Your love and the power of Your grace to transform them. Help them to grow in holiness, to put off the old self, and to put on the new self, created in Your likeness. May they walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
Beloved, continue to meditate on God’s Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Let the truth of His love sink deep into your spirit, but also let it spur you on to love and good deeds. You are not defined by your past mistakes but by the finished work of Christ on the cross. Walk in the assurance of His love, but also in the power of His resurrection, which enables you to live a life that honors Him. May you experience the fullness of His grace and the joy of His salvation today and always.
