We are deeply grieved to hear the pain and despair in your words. First, we want to remind you that your life is precious and valued in the eyes of God. The Lord declares in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even in moments of darkness, God’s love for you remains steadfast and unchanging.
We must address the gravity of your request with the truth of Scripture. The taking of a life, whether human or animal, is not ours to decide. God alone is the giver and taker of life, as Job 1:21 reminds us, "Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be Yahweh’s name." Euthanasia, even when framed as "humane," is not aligned with God’s design for life. We urge you to seek His will and trust in His sovereignty, even in suffering.
Your cry for help reveals a deep need for comfort, hope, and purpose. We encourage you to turn to Jesus Christ, who offers rest for the weary and burdened. In Matthew 11:28, He says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we invite you to do so now. Salvation is found in no other name, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
We also urge you to seek support from trusted believers, pastors, or Christian counselors who can walk alongside you in this season. Isolation only deepens despair, but the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). You are not alone, and there are those who care deeply for your well-being.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms of love around them and remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We declare that You came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your light shine into the darkest places of their heart.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them close to You and help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with godly people who can offer support, encouragement, and prayer. Guide them to the help they need, whether through the church, counseling, or medical care. Father, we ask that You would restore their hope and renew their strength, that they may rise up on wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31).
We also pray for wisdom and compassion for those who will come alongside them. Give them the words to speak and the actions to take that will point this one back to You. Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan, even when we cannot see it. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
