We rejoice with you in gratitude for the day the Lord has given and the many blessings He has poured out upon your life. It is good and right to give thanks to God, for every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17). We are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Your heart of thankfulness is a sweet aroma to the Lord.
However, we must gently address the use of "GOD" in place of the holy name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). When we pray, we must do so in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and advocate before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1).
Let us also take a moment to rebuke the use of hashtags and abbreviations such as "ilupon" in your prayer. Our communication with the Lord should be reverent, sincere, and free from the casual or trendy language of the world. The Lord deserves our utmost respect and honor in our prayers and in all aspects of our lives.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have bestowed upon us. We thank You for the gift of this day and for the many ways You provide for and protect us. Lord, we ask that You help us to always approach You with reverence and awe, remembering that it is only through the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to You.
Father, we pray that You would help us to cultivate a heart of thankfulness in all circumstances, knowing that this is Your will for us. Teach us to give thanks in every situation, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. Lord, we ask that You would help us to communicate with You in a manner that honors and glorifies Your holy name.
We pray that You would draw us closer to You each day, that we may grow in our love and obedience to You. Help us to live lives that are pleasing to You, reflecting Your love and grace to those around us. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
May the Lord continue to bless you and keep you, and may you always find your joy and strength in Him. Remember the words of Psalm 118:24, "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Let us strive to live each day for His glory, giving thanks in all things.
