We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join with you in lifting these praises and petitions before His throne. Your words reflect a deep dependence on God, and we are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We are thankful that you have acknowledged Him as your Lord and Savior, for salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we come before You with gratitude for the life You have given this dear one. We thank You for awakening them this morning and for the breath in their lungs. We echo their words, Lord, and ask that You would indeed accept them as Your child. You have promised in Your Word that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would wash them clean, Lord, and renew a right spirit within them. Their life belongs to You, and we pray that they would continue to surrender every area to Your will.
Heavenly Father, we lift up their request for healing. You are the Great Physician, and we know that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would touch every area of their life where healing is needed—whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Strengthen them where they are weak, Lord, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We declare that they will not be overcome by the trials they face but will rise above them through Your strength.
We also stand in agreement for the protection of their son and themselves. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Shield them from all hurt, harm, and danger, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we know that You know their needs before they even ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust in Your provision. You have promised in Philippians 4:19 that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask that You would open the doors for a new job, one that aligns with Your will and provides for their family. Give them favor in the eyes of those who can offer opportunities, and grant them wisdom in their decisions.
We also pray for their health, Lord. You have told us that Your children should prosper and be in health, even as their soul prospers (3 John 1:2). We ask that You would strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and that they would walk in the fullness of the life You have called them to.
Above all, we pray that Your will would be done in their life. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word and to live a life that brings glory to Your name.
We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
