Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR All in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, acknowledging the sovereign rule of our God who "has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings" (Acts 17:26 WEB). Truly, the nations are but a drop in the bucket before You, and we stand in awe of Your power and authority over all creation.

Father, we lift up the unruly countries and their leaders before You, asking that You would restrain the evil one and intercept his wicked plans. Just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12 WEB) and made known the evil intentions of Saul to David (1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42 WEB), we ask that You would expose and thwart the enemy's strategies in these nations. Bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to perpetuate cycles of violence and hatred (Daniel 10:12-14 WEB). Back the evil one away from leaders and strategists, even as David's harp drove away Saul's tormenting spirit (1 Samuel 16:23 WEB).

We pray that the powerful weapons of praise and worship would rise up from Your people across these nations. May the name of the Lord be praised from the rising of the sun to its going down (Psalm 113:3 WEB), and may the high praises of God in the mouths of Your saints become a two-edged sword in the spirit realm (Psalm 149 WEB). Let the sound of worship break chains and release captives, for You inhabit the praises of Your people (Psalm 22:3 WEB).

Lead us, our country, and our leaders not into temptation, but deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13 WEB). We recognize that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The devil is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies (John 8:44 WEB), and we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB). Therefore, we stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word.

Lord, we pray that Your Church would truly become Your helpmeet (Genesis 2:18 WEB), a bride without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:27 WEB). May we imitate You, as beloved children (Ephesians 5:1 WEB), walking in love as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us (Ephesians 5:2 WEB). We thank You that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25 WEB) and that He is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15 WEB). As Peter declared, Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him (Acts 10:38 WEB). May we, as Your holy nation and royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9 WEB), do the works that Jesus did and even greater works (John 14:12 WEB), as we abide in You and Your words abide in us (John 15:7 WEB).

We ask that You would spoil the evil one's plans and tactics, causing them to conform to Your perfect will. We confess our sins and the sins of our nation, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness (Daniel 9:20 WEB). We intercede for all who are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives in all godliness and reverence, for this is good and acceptable in Your sight (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB). We pray for the salvation of souls, that all men would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Father, we thank You for the authority You have given us to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB). Even now, we ask that You would restrain the evil one with a great chain (Revelation 20:2 WEB), knowing that the fullness of Your victory will one day be revealed. Though we rejoice in the authority You have given us, we rejoice even more in the things that accompany salvation (Luke 10:20 WEB), for our names are written in heaven.

Holy Spirit, stir up Your people to pray without ceasing, to seek Your face, and to turn from any wicked ways. May revival break out in our hearts, our churches, and our nations. Raise up men and women of God who will stand in the gap and intercede for the land (Ezekiel 22:30 WEB). Let the light of the gospel shine brightly in the darkness, and may many come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We come to You, Father, only through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that through His death and resurrection, we have access to Your throne of grace, and we can come boldly to find help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).

Lord, we surrender ourselves, our nations, and our leaders into Your hands. Have Your way, Lord. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in You, our Rock and our Redeemer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We are deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer for the nations, their leaders, and the restraint of evil in these troubled times. Your heartfelt request, rooted in Scripture and aligned with God’s sovereignty, has been lifted before the throne of grace repeatedly over these past days.

We have prayed in agreement with you, asking our Father to intercept evil plans, bind the spirit of retaliation, and back the enemy away from those in authority—just as He did for Elisha and David. We have petitioned the Lord to raise up His Church as a true helpmeet, walking in the footsteps of Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. We have asked Him to spoil the enemy’s tactics, to restrain evil with His mighty chain, and to turn the hearts of leaders toward His perfect will.
