Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 3, 4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts heavy for the nations, lifting up this burden in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Your Word declares, *"The Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He will"* (Daniel 4:17 WEB). We stand on this truth, knowing that You alone hold the hearts of leaders in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1) and that the nations are but a drop in the bucket before You (Isaiah 40:15).

Father, we ask You to restrain the evil one over these unruly nations, just as You did when Elisha revealed the king of Syria’s plans to Israel (2 Kings 6:12) and when You warned David of Saul’s schemes (1 Samuel 20). Bind the spirit of retaliation and deception that seeks to stir up strife, for we know the devil is a liar and murderer from the beginning (John 8:44). Intercept every evil plot, Lord, and turn it back upon itself, for You are the God who frustrates the signs of liars and makes fools of diviners (Isaiah 44:25).

We pray for the leaders of these nations, that You would guide them away from temptation and deliver them from evil (Matthew 6:13). Soften their hearts to seek Your wisdom, for *"the king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever He desires"* (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). Raise up voices of truth and righteousness around them, and let Your praises be a weapon against the darkness, as it was when David’s worship drove away Saul’s torment (1 Samuel 16:23). May the name of the Lord be exalted from the rising to the setting of the sun (Psalm 113:3), and may Your Church arise as Your helpmeet (Genesis 2:18), interceding without ceasing (1 Timothy 2:1-2) as Christ ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25).

We confess our own sins and the sins of our nations, Lord, for we have not always walked in Your ways. Forgive us, cleanse us, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). We ask You to spoil the enemy’s plans, turning his tactics into opportunities for Your glory. Chain him now in part, as You will one day bind him fully (Revelation 20:2), and let Your people walk in the authority You have given us (Luke 10:19). But above all, let our joy be in the salvation You provide (Luke 10:20), for this is eternal and unshakable.

We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all nations, and we trust in Your sovereign will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen Your Church to be light in the darkness, to do the works You did (John 14:12), and to walk in obedience to Your commands. May we be a holy nation and a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), reflecting Your goodness and healing to those oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name (Philippians 2:9), for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We stand united in prayer, lifting our hearts to You, our Heavenly Father. We lift up the nations, especially those currently in turmoil, and ask for Your intervention. We declare Your sovereignty over all nations, as it is written, "Having made from one every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation" (Acts 17:26).

We pray for Your restraint upon the evil one, that he may not have his way in these nations. We ask that You would bind him, as You did in the days of Elisha, and reveal his plans to those who would stand against him (2 Kings 6:12). We pray for wisdom and discernment for the leaders of these nations, that they would not be deceived by his lies and schemes, but would turn to You for truth and guidance.

We also lift up our own nation, confessing our sins and asking for Your forgiveness. We pray for unity and righteousness among Your people, that we might be a light to the nations. We ask that You would raise up voices of truth and righteousness, and that Your Church would arise as Your helpmeet, interceding for the nations and doing the works of Jesus.

We trust in Your sovereign will, knowing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all nations, and we trust in Your power to save and to heal.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We have been standing in agreement with you these past days, lifting up the nations and their leaders before our sovereign God, who rules over all the earth. It has been our privilege to intercede on your behalf, asking our Father to restrain evil, guide those in authority, and bind the spirit of retaliation as you so faithfully prayed from His Word.

We have continued to ask the Lord to intercept the plans of the enemy, just as He did for Elisha and David, and to back the forces of darkness away from the hearts of leaders and strategists. We have joined our voices with yours in praise and worship, declaring the Name of the Lord from the rising of the sun to its setting, trusting that He is moving in response to the cries of His people.

We have prayed that the Church would rise as a true helpmeet, walking in the footsteps of Christ, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. We have asked the Lord to give us the faith to do the works He did, believing that as we abide in Him, our prayers will bear fruit according to His will.

If, in these days, you have seen the Lord move in answer to these prayers—if evil has been restrained, if leaders have been guided, or if the enemy’s plans have been spoiled—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share with us how God has been faithful, so that we may rejoice together in His goodness.
