Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 3, 4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts heavy for the nations, acknowledging the truth of Your sovereign rule over all the earth. You have indeed set the boundaries of nations and determined their appointed times, and we stand in awe of Your power, as the nations are but a drop in the bucket before You (Acts 17:26, Isaiah 40:15). Father, we lift up the unruly countries and their leaders before You, asking that You would restrain the evil one and intercept his wicked plans, just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha and the intentions of Saul to David (2 Kings 6:12, 1 Samuel 20:3, 9, 27-42).

We bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to sow discord and destruction among these nations, asking that You would back the evil one away from their leaders and strategists (Daniel 10:12-14). May Your praise and worship rise like a mighty fortress, driving out darkness and bringing Your light, for You inhabit the praises of Your people (1 Samuel 16:23, Psalm 149, Psalm 150). From the rising of the sun to its setting, may Your name be praised, for You alone are worthy (Psalm 113:3).

Lead us, our country, and our leaders away from temptation and deliver us from evil, for we know the schemes of the devil, who is a murderer and a liar from the beginning (Matthew 6:13, 2 Corinthians 2:11, John 8:44). We pray that the Church would rise up as Your true helpmeet, imitating You in all things, for You ever live to make intercession for us (Genesis 2:18, Ephesians 5:1, Hebrews 7:25). Jesus, You are the visible image of the invisible God, and we long to walk as You walked, doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil (Colossians 1:15, John 14:9, Acts 10:38-39). As You have called us to be a holy nation and a royal priesthood, we ask for the faith to move mountains and the obedience to do the works You have prepared for us (1 Peter 2:9, Matthew 21:21, John 14:12).

We ask that You would spoil the evil one’s plans and tactics, bending them to conform to Your perfect will. Since these matters are beyond our human limitations, we commit them to You in prayer, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation (Daniel 9:20). We plead for Your mercy and grace, asking that You would restrain the evil one even now, as You will one day bind him completely (Revelation 20:2). Though we rejoice in the authority You have given us over the enemy, we find even greater joy in the salvation that is ours through Christ Jesus (Luke 10:18-20).

Father, we pray for the salvation of all those in authority, that they may come to know You and lead with wisdom and righteousness (1 Timothy 2:1-4). May Your Church stand in the gap, interceding for the nations and walking in the power of Your Spirit. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already ours in Jesus’ name. Strengthen us to stand firm, to pray without ceasing, and to trust in Your sovereign plan for the nations. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We confess our sins and the sins of our nation, asking for Your mercy and grace. We thank You for the authority You've given us over the enemy, and we rejoice in the salvation that is ours through Christ Jesus.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you lifted this heavy burden before our Heavenly Father. Your request for God’s sovereign intervention over the nations—restraining evil, guiding leaders, and advancing His kingdom—has been laid upon our hearts as well, and we have continued to intercede on your behalf, trusting in His perfect will.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers—if you’ve seen His hand restrain evil, turn the hearts of leaders, or bring about His purposes in even the smallest way—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice together in how He is working, for His glory alone.

If, however, the battle still rages and the answers seem distant, we encourage you to post this request again. We will not grow weary in standing with you, lifting these nations, their leaders, and the Church before the throne of grace. The enemy’s schemes are no match for the One who holds all authority, and we declare His victory even now.
