Father, Restrain Evil, We Pray FOR ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-2, SALVATION in Jesus' Name, 3, 4... Father -- You are Sovereign, "having made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 9, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36, 37-38, 39-40, 41-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3.

Lead us, our country and our leaders not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, imitating God, Eph 5:1, SINCE YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION, Heb 7:25, Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, recognizing the sovereignty of our God who rules over all creation. You, O Lord, have established the boundaries of the nations and hold their times in Your hands. As it is written in Acts 17:26, "He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings." Truly, the nations are but a drop in the bucket to You, as Isaiah 40:15 declares.

We lift up the unruly countries of this world, asking You to restrain the evil one and intercept his wicked plans. Just as You revealed the schemes of the king of Syria to Elisha, and just as David discerned the evil intentions of Saul, we ask You to expose and thwart the enemy’s strategies. Bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to perpetuate cycles of violence and hatred, as Daniel 10:12-13 shows us the spiritual battles behind earthly conflicts. We plead for Your intervention, that the evil one would be pushed back from the hearts and minds of leaders and strategists. Let praise and worship rise like a mighty weapon, as it did when David played for Saul, driving away the tormenting spirit. May the name of the Lord be praised from the rising to the setting of the sun, as Psalm 113:3 proclaims.

Father, lead our nation and its leaders away from temptation and deliver them from evil, as we pray in the words of Matthew 6:13. We are not ignorant of the devil’s schemes, for he is a murderer from the beginning and the father of lies, as Jesus Himself declared in John 8:44. We stand against his deception and ask for Your protection over the minds and hearts of those in authority.

We cry out for the Church to rise as Your true helpmeet, fulfilling the purpose for which You created her. As Genesis 2:18 says, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him." May we imitate You, as Ephesians 5:1 commands, and follow the example of Jesus Christ, who ever lives to make intercession for us, as Hebrews 7:25 assures us. He is the visible image of the invisible God, and in Him, we see the Father. As Peter testified in Acts 10:38-39, Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Let us walk in that same authority and compassion, doing the works He did and even greater works, as John 14:12 promises.

We ask You to spoil the enemy’s plans and tactics, aligning them with Your perfect will. Though these battles are beyond our human limitations, we bring them before You in prayer, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation. As Daniel 9:20 shows us, even the righteous must humble themselves before You. We intercede for all in authority, as 1 Timothy 2:1-4 instructs, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and find salvation in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we thank You for the authority You have given us to tread upon serpents and scorpions, as Luke 10:19 declares. Yet we rejoice not in the temporary power over the enemy, but in the eternal truth that our names are written in heaven, as Jesus reminded us in Luke 10:20. We praise You for the victory that is already ours in Christ, and we ask that You restrain the evil one even now, as Revelation 20:2 foretells. One day, he will be bound completely, but until then, we stand firm in faith, trusting in Your sovereign power.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which men can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares. We submit ourselves to You, Lord, and ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Strengthen Your Church to be a light in the darkness, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. May we walk in holiness, love, and truth, reflecting Your glory to a watching world. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We join you, dear brother/sister, in lifting up our hearts in prayer for the nations. Our God, in His sovereignty, has determined the boundaries and appointed times for every nation. As Psalm 33:10 reminds us, "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host." We trust that He is in control, even in the face of unruly countries and evil plans.

Let's intercede together, asking the Lord to restrain the evil one and expose his strategies. May the Church rise up as a mighty force for good, shining the light of Christ into the darkest corners of the world. We pray for our leaders, that they would be guided by wisdom and compassion, turning away from temptation and towards righteousness.

We also ask for forgiveness, both for ourselves and for our nation. Let's humble ourselves before the Lord, confessing our sins and turning away from them. We believe in the power of prayer to change not only our hearts but also the course of history.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer as you lift up the nations and their leaders before our sovereign God. It is a sacred trust to intercede alongside you, asking the Lord to restrain evil, guide those in authority, and bring salvation to all people according to His perfect will. Your prayer, rooted in Scripture and aligned with God’s heart, has been a reminder to us all of His supreme authority over the affairs of men—how He sets the times and boundaries of nations, and how nothing escapes His knowledge or control.

We have continued to join you in asking the Father to intercept evil plans, just as He did for Elisha and David, and to bind the spirit of retaliation that seeks to fuel conflict. We have prayed that praise and worship would rise like a shield over these nations, pushing back darkness and ushering in His peace. As we’ve lifted up our own leaders and countries, we’ve asked the Lord to lead us all away from temptation and deliver us from evil, trusting in His protection and wisdom.

We’ve also prayed for the Church to arise as a true helpmeet to God’s purposes, walking in the authority and love of Christ, doing the works He did, and even greater works, as we abide in Him. We’ve confessed our sins and the sins of our nations, seeking His mercy and grace to cover us. And we’ve thanked Him for the authority He has given us to trample on serpents and scorpions, while rejoicing even more in the salvation that is ours in Jesus Christ.
