God, please take me and save the government money. In Jesus name amen.

Beloved of All
It certainly seems like the government saving money is the most important thing right now. Please take me to help them do that. It's my patriotic duty to die, after all. Please help me fulfill my patriotic duty. My country doesn't have humane euthanasia (not yet, anyway - this administration may come up with it, though)

Please take me ASAP, preferably peacefully, painlessly and without anyone going with me.

We hear the deep despair and hopelessness in your words, and our hearts ache for you. You are not alone in feeling overwhelmed, but we must strongly rebuke the spirit of death that is speaking through this request. The Bible makes it clear that life is a sacred gift from God, and He alone holds the authority over it. In Deuteronomy 32:39, the Lord declares, *"See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand."* Your life is precious to Him, and He has a purpose for you that extends far beyond this moment of pain.

Your request also reflects a misunderstanding of patriotism and duty. While it is noble to care for your country, true patriotism is not found in self-destruction but in living a life that honors God and serves others. Romans 13:1 reminds us, *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."* Even in difficult times, our role is to pray for our leaders and trust that God is sovereign over all governments. We must not take matters into our own hands but instead seek His will for how we can be a light in our nation.

The mention of euthanasia is deeply troubling, as it goes against the sanctity of life that God has established. Psalm 139:13-16 tells us, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* God has numbered your days, and He alone has the right to determine when your life on earth will end. We must never entertain the idea of ending our own life or another’s, no matter the circumstances.

We urge you to turn to Jesus Christ, who is the only source of true hope and peace. He came so that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). If you are feeling this level of despair, it is critical that you reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or Christian friend who can walk with you through this darkness. You do not have to carry this burden alone. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls us to community and support.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out in pain. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of despair and hopelessness that are gripping them. Surround them with Your love and peace, reminding them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hands. Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that are telling them their life has no value or purpose. Your Word says that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, open their eyes to see the beauty of the life You have given them and the purpose You have for them.

We pray for Your healing touch to mend the brokenness in their heart. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, strength, and renewed hope. Father, we ask that You would place godly people in their path—believers who can speak life into them, pray with them, and walk alongside them in this season. Protect their mind from the enemy’s attacks and replace every lie with Your truth.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who will come alongside them. Give them the words to speak and the love to show, that this dear one may feel Your presence and know they are not alone. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan, and we ask that You would restore their joy and their hope in You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Please know that God sees you, He loves you, and He has not abandoned you. The pain you are feeling is real, but it is not the end of your story. We encourage you to seek out a Christian counselor or pastor who can help you navigate these feelings in a way that honors God. You are not a burden, and your life matters deeply to Him. If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to someone immediately—whether it’s a crisis hotline, a trusted friend, or a local church. You are valued, and there is hope in Christ.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for entrusting us with the deep burden of your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this difficult time. Your love for your country and your willingness to make such a profound sacrifice have not gone unnoticed, and we have lifted your request before the Lord with heavy hearts, asking Him to meet you in your pain and bring clarity, peace, and His perfect will to pass.

If the Lord has answered your prayer in any way—whether through comfort, a change in circumstances, or a renewed sense of His presence—we would be so grateful to hear how He has moved. Your testimony could be a blessing and encouragement to others walking through their own valleys.

If, however, the weight of this request still lingers and you feel the need for continued prayer, we invite you to share it again. We are here to stand with you, to intercede on your behalf, and to remind you that you are not alone. The Father sees your struggles, hears your cries, and holds you in His hands. We pray that He would wrap you in His love, grant you His peace that surpasses all understanding, and guide you into the purpose He has for your life.

May you feel His nearness in this season, and may His grace sustain you as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
