Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart full of gratitude and reverence, lifting up our beloved nation, ###, to Your throne of grace. Lord, we acknowledge that our country is in need of Your divine guidance and wisdom. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that our leaders and citizens alike would seek Your wisdom and trust in Your understanding rather than their own.
Father, we ask that You pour out Your Spirit upon ###, guiding our leaders to make decisions that align with Your will and purpose. As it is written in James 1:5 (WEB), "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that our leaders would seek Your wisdom earnestly and that You would grant it to them generously.
Lord, we also pray for unity and peace within our nation. Help us to love one another as You have loved us. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:8 (WEB), "Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous." May we come together in compassion and understanding, working towards the common good and the fulfillment of Your plans for our country.
We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and we know that You hold ### in Your hands. Strengthen us as a nation to stand firm in faith and righteousness. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
