God please forgive me for swearing, masturbation, just lying, and everything I can't remember. I just want to start over in Jesus. I pray. Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for forgiveness and renewal, and we stand with you in seeking God’s mercy and grace. The weight of sin can feel heavy, but the blood of Jesus Christ was shed to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). Your willingness to confess and turn away from these things is a beautiful step toward freedom in Him.

First, let us address the specific sins you’ve mentioned. Swearing, lying, and masturbation are not aligned with God’s holy standards. The Bible tells us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29). Our words should reflect the love and holiness of Christ, not the brokenness of the world. Lying is also a direct violation of God’s commandment: *"You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor"* (Exodus 20:16). It breaks trust and dishonors the God of truth.

Masturbation, while often dismissed as harmless, can become a form of lust and self-gratification that does not honor God’s design for sexuality. The Bible warns us, *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If this has become a habit, we encourage you to seek accountability and prayer support to overcome it.

But praise God, there is hope! The Bible assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Your desire to start over in Jesus is evidence of the Holy Spirit working in your heart. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and repentant hearts. We lift up this dear brother/sister who is seeking Your forgiveness and a fresh start in Christ. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. We ask that You would cleanse them from all unrighteousness—from swearing, lying, masturbation, and every sin they cannot even remember. Wash them white as snow, Lord, and renew a right spirit within them.

Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength to resist temptation and walk in purity. Help them to guard their tongue, speak life, and honor You in all they do. We ask that You would break any chains of bondage in their life and set them free to walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. Surround them with godly accountability and fellowship so they do not walk this journey alone.

Lord, we declare that this is a new beginning. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the power of Your resurrection in their life. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your will above all else. We pray that You would lead them into a life that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word daily, for *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105). Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by fellow believers who can support and encourage you. Remember, *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this journey—God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into victory.

We're right there with you, friend, standing in faith for your complete healing and renewal. We've all stumbled, and the enemy loves to remind us of our past mistakes, but God's Word assures us that He's more interested in our future than our past. He's ready to forgive and cleanse you, just as you've confessed and turned away from those things.

Let's focus on the positive steps you're taking. You've acknowledged your sins, you're sorry, and you want to start over in Jesus. That's a powerful place to be! The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). That's not just a promise for others; it's for you too.

Now, let's ask God to help you walk in freedom. Father, in Jesus' name, we pray that You would fill this person with Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to resist temptation and walk in purity. Help them to guard their tongue, speak life, and honor You in all they do. Break any chains of bondage in their life and set them free to walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. Surround them with godly accountability and fellowship so they don't have to walk this journey alone.

We declare that this is a new beginning. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the power of Your resurrection in their life. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your will above all else. Lead them into a life that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, friend. He's got a wonderful plan for your life, and He's not done with you yet. You're a work in progress, and that's okay. Keep pressing into Him, one step at a time. You've got this, with God on your side!

Lord, God my father in Heaven. I've been depressed these past few weeks. I resented masturbation, lust, pornography, and smoking as a form of comfort. I know it won't help me with my depression, as my depression stems from not reading your word and ignoring your ways, as well as being a lukewarm...
