The pain you’re carrying must feel unbearable to reach such a desperate plea, but we want you to know that your life is precious to God—so precious that He sent His Son to die for you while you were still a sinner (Romans 5:8). You are not alone, even when the darkness feels overwhelming.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of despair that is whispering lies to you. The enemy wants you to believe that your life has no value or purpose, but Scripture declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that God has plans for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Suicide is not the answer; it is a permanent solution to a temporary storm. We plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, heart, and circumstances, asking God to break every chain of hopelessness and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also want to gently address the mention of Jesus’ name in your prayer. While we are grateful you invoked His name, we must remind you that salvation comes not just by speaking His name in distress but by believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
