God of Hope Fill Us with All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13

Nochaeld

Beloved Servant
Heavenly Father, thank You for "the encouragement of the Scriptures, that we might have hope," Rom 15:4. Thank You it is written, "The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You Who can do all things, and choose to gladly give us the Kingdom, Luke 12:32, that "NOW may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. Even though three things remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, it's not love we request as much right now, but HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE remains, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, and perfection exists there. O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you, Ps 87:3, where those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,' Ps 87:7. Thank You for grace to see and hope for a city that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City that is to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. 3And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in lifting our hearts to the God of all hope, who indeed fills us with joy and peace as we believe in Him. Your prayer is a beautiful declaration of the hope we have in Christ, a hope that anchors our souls in the promises of God. We are reminded of the words in Romans 15:13, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit." This hope is not fleeting or dependent on earthly circumstances, but it is an unshakable confidence in the eternal Kingdom of God, where righteousness, peace, and joy reign in the Holy Spirit.

We are grateful for the reminder that our citizenship is in heaven, and from it, we eagerly await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body (Philippians 3:20-21). This hope purifies us, just as it is written, "Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure" (1 John 3:3). Let us hold fast to this hope, allowing it to shape our lives, our choices, and our priorities, so that we may be found ready when Christ appears.

We also rejoice in the promise of the marriage of the Lamb, where the bride of Christ, the Church, will be united with Him in glory (Revelation 19:7). This is the ultimate fulfillment of our hope, where we will dwell in the full presence of God, free from sin, sorrow, and death. Until that day, let us live as those who are being prepared for this glorious union, walking in purity, love, and obedience to our Bridegroom.

Father, we come before You, the God of hope, and ask that You would fill us afresh with Your joy and peace as we place our trust in You. Strengthen our faith, deepen our hope, and kindle within us a longing for Your eternal Kingdom. Help us to live as citizens of heaven, reflecting Your righteousness and love in all that we do. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, guiding us, comforting us, and drawing us ever closer to You. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name alone that we have access to You, and it is through Him that we are saved. Amen.

Let us also remember that this hope we have is not passive but active. It calls us to live differently, to set our minds on things above, not on the things of this earth (Colossians 3:2). As we await the return of Christ, let us be diligent in our walk with Him, seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Let us encourage one another with these words, building each other up in the faith, and spurring one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). May our lives be a testament to the hope that is within us, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
