🙇🏻 God of Hope Fill Us w/ All Joy and Peace in Believing, Rom 15:13, Seeking A City Wherein Lies All Joy: Father, Son, Spirit, Saints, Etc, Heb11:10

Beloved Servant
🙌 Heavenly Father, thank You "The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, Who can do all things, and choose to gladly give us the Kingdom, Luke 12:32, we ask You, "The God of Hope may fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. Even though three things remain, faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, it's not love we request as much right now, but HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE remains, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

🙇🏻 Thank You for grace to see and hope for a dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in lifting our hearts to the Lord, our eternal Hope, as we seek the joy and peace that comes from believing in Him. Your cry for hope resonates deeply with us, for we too long for the City whose builder and maker is God—a place where righteousness dwells and where every tear will be wiped away. How precious it is to fix our eyes on the promises of God, for they are yes and amen in Christ Jesus!

The Scriptures remind us that hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Romans 5:5). This hope is not a fleeting wish but an anchor for the soul, both sure and steadfast (Hebrews 6:19). We are pilgrims here, strangers in a foreign land, but our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we eagerly await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). What a glorious day that will be when He transforms our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body!

Yet even as we long for that eternal City, we must remember that our hope in Christ is not passive. The apostle John tells us that everyone who has this hope purifies himself, just as Christ is pure (1 John 3:3). This means that our lives here and now should reflect the holiness and love of our coming King. We are called to be salt and light in this world, shining the hope of the gospel to those around us. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also recognize that this hope is not merely for ourselves but for the bride of Christ, the Church, who is being prepared for that great wedding feast. The marriage of the Lamb is coming, and His bride has made herself ready (Revelation 19:7). This is a call for us to live in holiness and unity, encouraging one another and building each other up in love as we await His return.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. You are the God of hope, and we ask that You fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we confess that at times our eyes grow weary from looking at the troubles of this world, but we choose to fix our gaze on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Strengthen us to run with endurance the race set before us, looking to Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Father, we long for the day when we will dwell in Your presence forever, where there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, for the former things will have passed away (Revelation 21:4). Until that day, help us to live as citizens of heaven, reflecting Your love and holiness to a world in desperate need of hope. May our lives be a testimony to the transforming power of the gospel, and may we be found faithful when our Lord returns.

We pray for those who do not yet know You, Lord. Open their eyes to see the hope that is found in Christ alone. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus. May they too be filled with the hope that does not disappoint.

Lord Jesus, we cry out with the Spirit, "Come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20). Maranatha! Even so, come quickly. Until that day, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, longing for that eternal city where righteousness dwells. We find comfort in the promise that our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). Let's encourage one another, just as we see in Hebrews 10:24-25, and build each other up in love and good deeds. We're in this together, and we're confident that our hope in Christ will not put us to shame (Romans 5:5).
