Heavenly Father, thank You The Kingdom is "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit," Rom 14:17. I ask You, "The God of Hope, will fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13. We thank You that faith, hope and love remain, and the greatest of these is love, 1 Cor 13:13, so we ask for all three, and especially HOPE... Thank You that in Jesus, HOPE does remain, of an eternal Kingdom, and Your full presence, where perfection exists, and a Glorious Throne, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary, Jeremiah 17:12. For here we have no lasting city, but are seeking one to come, Heb 13:14. "O City of God, Glorious things are spoken of you," Ps 87:3, where, "those who sing as well as those who play the flutes say, 'All my springs of joy are in you,'" Ps 87:7.

Thank You for extra grace to see that dwelling that cannot be torn down, eternal in the heavens, not made with hands, 2 Cor 5:1, for we are seeking a City to come, whose architect and builder is God, Heb 11:10. "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself," Philippians 3:20-21, as it is also written, "Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure," 1 John 3:2-3. "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready," Revelation 19:7. Now may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God The Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus, Rev 22:20, Thank You in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in lifting our hearts to the God of all hope, who indeed fills us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Your prayer resonates deeply with our longing for the eternal city, the New Jerusalem, where righteousness dwells and every tear will be wiped away. We are reminded that our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we eagerly await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body (Philippians 3:20-21).

The hope we have in Christ is an anchor for our souls, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19). It is this hope that purifies us, just as He is pure, and compels us to live holy and godly lives as we look forward to the day of God (1 John 3:2-3; 2 Peter 3:11-12). We are grateful for the assurance that faith, hope, and love remain, and the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13). Indeed, love is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13:10), and it is by love that we know we have passed from death to life (1 John 3:14).

We rejoice in the promise of the marriage of the Lamb, where the bride of Christ, the church, will be presented to Him in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, holy and blameless (Ephesians 5:27; Revelation 19:7). This is the hope that sustains us, the joy set before us, which enables us to endure the cross and despise its shame (Hebrews 12:2).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We praise You for the promise of Your eternal kingdom, where there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, for the former things have passed away (Revelation 21:4). Lord, fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may abound in hope, joy, and peace as we trust in You. Strengthen our faith, that we may run with endurance the race set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Father, we ask that You would purify our hearts and minds, that we may be blameless and holy in Your sight. Help us to live as citizens of heaven, conducting ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27). May our lives be a testament to the hope that lies within us, that others may see our good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16).

Lord, we long for the day when we will see You face to face, when we will be like You, for we will see You as You are. Until that day, help us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). May we be found faithful, watching and waiting for Your return, with our lamps burning bright (Matthew 25:1-13).

We thank You for the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, who comforts us, guides us into all truth, and empowers us to live godly lives. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, now and forevermore. Come, Lord Jesus, come quickly! We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as we see the Day drawing near (Hebrews 10:24-25). May we be found faithful, ready for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (2 Peter 3:18).

What strikes us is how your words themselves are an act of hope. Hope isn’t just optimism; it’s the soul anchored to what God has promised, even when our emotions haven’t caught up yet. That’s what we hear in your prayer: you’re reaching for the thing that anchors you. And the reaching matters. You have prayed with Scripture upon your lips, and that is well, for the promises of God are the surest foundation for our petitions. But mark this: you ask for joy and peace, and rightly so, yet see that you seek them by believing, not as a means to believe. There is a subtle snare which would have you feel joy first and then trust, but that is the reverse of God’s order. Faith is the root; joy and peace are the sweet fruit. If you would be filled with all joy and peace, let it be through the channel of a simple, steadfast reliance upon Christ alone. Do not look within to find a warrant for your faith, but look to Him who is the God of hope. It is in believing that the soul is filled, aye, filled as a vessel sunk into the ocean of His love, till every crevice is flooded with peace that passes understanding.

You long for the City whose builder and maker is God, and that is a holy longing. Here we have no continuing city; the tents of earth are but frail dwellings. Lift your eyes often to that eternal habitation, for the hope of it purifies the heart and sets the pilgrim’s face steadfastly toward the Celestial Gate. Yet while you seek that city, do not forget that the joy of it may begin even now in these lowlands. Christ’s own joy abides in His people, a joy that no man takes from you, because it is rooted in His finished work and His risen life. That joy is not a fleeting fancy but a well-founded peace, broad as the covenant and sure as the throne of the Most High.

I perceive in your words a heart that yearns after holiness and heaven. Press on, then, in your race. And if, by reason of the flesh, you have slackened your pace or turned aside into by-paths, hear the voice that cries, “Return, return!” It is not a voice of wrath but of tender entreaty. The Lord would have you back upon the King’s highway, walking in fellowship with Him, that your joy may be full. Stay not away through fear, for He calls you with the cord of a man and the bands of love. Return now, immediately, lest delay breed hardness and the world’s enchantments drown the heavenly music.

And for the hope that remains, let it be as an anchor to your soul. You have asked for grace to see that dwelling not made with hands. That sight is given to faith alone. Believe, and you see the unseen; trust, and the invisible becomes solid to your soul. The very act of believing brings the City near, and the suburbs of glory invade the dreary streets of time. So go on praying, go on believing, and expect that the God of hope will indeed fill you with all joy and peace, till you abound in hope by the power of the Holy Ghost. The end of your faith, even the salvation of your soul, draws nigh. Until then, let your joy be in the Lord, for it is He who has made Himself your portion, your inheritance, and your exceeding great reward. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
