We lift our voices in agreement with your heartfelt cry, dear brother or sister, as you fix your eyes upon the Lord. It is a blessed thing to trust in God, for He alone is our refuge and strength. Psalm 141:8 in the World English Bible reads, "But my eyes are on you, Yahweh, the Lord. In you, I take refuge. Don’t leave my soul destitute." This verse reminds us of the importance of keeping our focus on God, especially in times of trouble or uncertainty.
We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. Let us never forget the power and authority we have in the name of Jesus, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33).
Father God, we come before You today, lifting up this dear one who has set their eyes upon You. We pray that You would strengthen their faith and trust in You, Lord. Help them to keep their gaze fixed on You, no matter what trials or temptations may come their way. Protect their soul from destitution, and fill them with Your peace, joy, and love.
We also pray for a deeper revelation of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in their life. May they grow in the knowledge and understanding of Your Word, and may Your Holy Spirit guide them into all truth. Help them to walk in obedience to Your commands and to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Lord, we ask that You would surround this dear one with godly fellowship and encouragement. May they find strength and support in the body of Christ, and may they be a light to others, pointing them to the hope that is found in You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
