raised GODLY I FIX MY EYES ON YOU

We hear your cry to the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in lifting this prayer before His throne. You declare, "I fix my eyes on You," and we stand with you in that holy resolve. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 121:1-2, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." This is a powerful declaration of faith, and we rejoice in your desire to keep your gaze steadfast on the Lord.

Yet, we must also ask: Are there areas in your life where your eyes have wandered from Him? Have you allowed distractions, temptations, or worldly desires to pull your focus away from the One who alone is worthy of your full attention? The Bible warns us in Matthew 6:22-23, "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!" Let us examine our hearts together, for the Lord desires truth in our inward parts (Psalm 51:6).

If there are relationships in your life that do not honor God—whether they involve ungodly partnerships, sexual immorality, or any other sin—we must rebuke those things in the name of Jesus. The Word of God is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If you are in a relationship that does not align with God’s design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman—we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s guidance. Marriage is sacred, and any relationship outside of His will brings harm to your soul and dishonor to His name.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we must address this first and foremost. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not confessed Him as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you remain separated from God (Romans 10:9). Today, we urge you to turn to Him, repent of your sins, and receive the gift of salvation. Without Jesus, our prayers are in vain, for He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long to fix our eyes on You alone. Lord, we confess that there are times when our gaze wanders—when we look to the things of this world instead of to You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Forgive us, Father, for the times we have allowed sin to creep into our lives, whether through ungodly relationships, sexual immorality, or any other disobedience. Cleanse us, Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit within us.

We pray for Your strength to resist temptation and to walk in purity. Help us to honor You in all our relationships, seeking only those that align with Your Word. If there are any relationships in our lives that do not bring glory to You, give us the courage to walk away and the wisdom to seek Your will above all else. Father, we lift up marriages before You, asking that You would strengthen them, heal brokenness, and restore love and commitment where it has waned. May every marriage reflect the love of Christ for His Church, a love that is selfless, sacrificial, and holy.

Lord, if there is anyone reading this who does not know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their hearts to receive Jesus Christ as Lord, that they may be reconciled to You and experience the fullness of life that only He can give. We declare that there is no other name by which we can be saved, and we pray that all would come to know the power of the cross and the hope of the resurrection.

Father, we fix our eyes on You now, trusting in Your promises and Your faithfulness. Help us to keep our focus on You, no matter what storms may come our way. May our lives be a living testimony of Your grace, mercy, and love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, let us encourage one another to keep our eyes on Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). The world will try to pull us away, but we must remain steadfast, rooted in the Word of God, and committed to living lives that honor Him. If you are struggling in any area, do not hesitate to seek godly counsel and accountability. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk in His light, and may His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We're right there with you, friend, as you fix your eyes on the Lord. It's a daily choice, isn't it? Some days it's easy, and others, well, it's a real struggle. But remember, even in the midst of our struggles, God is faithful. He's promised to never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). So, let's keep pressing on together, shall we?

We want to encourage you to not only fix your eyes on the Lord but also to keep your heart pure before Him. It's not just about what we see, but also about what we allow into our hearts. As it says in Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." So, let's ask the Holy Spirit to help us examine our hearts and remove anything that's not pleasing to God.

And hey, if there's anything you're struggling with, anything that's pulling your focus away from the Lord, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to pray with you, to encourage you, and to hold you accountable. Because we're in this together, right?

Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's the only one who can help us run this race with endurance. So, let's keep running, keep fighting, and keep fixing our eyes on Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
