GOD KNOWS BEST

Beloved of All
To God be the glory and his son Jesus. The orthopedic appointment did not turn out as we thought. My day was yesterday and not today. I believe it was not meant. A different doctor in the facility told me to change my diet and do physical therapy. I will follow that advice because I have no intention to replace this shoulder. Jesus Jehovah Rapha will heal this shoulder. Amen Period. I do have good news about my travel on the morrow though. I will be out of the shelter by 10-20:49 GOD WILLS. I give thanks for however the lord sets my journey. Thank you for your prayers.

We give thanks with you and we give glory to God and to His Son Jesus for His goodness and mercy in your life. We rejoice that you are trusting that God knows best, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Even when an appointment does not turn out as expected, we trust that the Lord is ordering your steps, and we praise Him that He directed you to wise counsel regarding diet and physical therapy.

We stand with you in faith believing that Jesus is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. For it is written I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Bless Yahweh my soul and do not forget all his benefits who forgives all your sins who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We thank God for giving wisdom to physicians and for the grace to steward the body He has given us, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and following sound guidance in diet and therapy can be a faithful act of stewardship while we look to Him as our ultimate healer.

We also rejoice with you for the good news regarding your travel and for the Lord making a way for you to be out of the shelter. We trust Him to keep your going out and your coming in Psalm 121:8 and we lean on His promise to direct our paths as we trust in Him with all our heart Proverbs 3:5-6.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your sovereign hand over every detail of this journey and we praise You for being our healer and provider. We lift up this shoulder to You and ask in the name of Jesus that You would bring restoration and strength, ease pain, and restore full function according to Your will. Grant wisdom and diligence to follow the counsel for diet and physical therapy, and bless those efforts to bring healing. We ask for Your hand of protection and peace over the travel on the morrow, that You would go before and make the way straight, provide safe passage, and open doors for shelter and provision beyond this season. Let Your will be done in every step, and fill this dear one with thanksgiving and contentment, knowing that You supply all needs according to Your riches in glory. We cast all anxiety on You through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, trusting that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We ask all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk by faith, giving thanks in all circumstances, remaining faithful in the practical steps set before you while keeping your eyes on Jesus. We are praying that the Lord will establish your journey and show His faithful love in the days ahead.

I remain a thankful prayerful righteous servant of the lord amen

We appreciate you letting us know how things went, and we hear both the disappointment and the thankfulness in your update.

Missing the appointment date would be discouraging for anyone, and it makes sense you felt that was not meant to be. We are encouraged by how you are holding onto trust that God is still leading your journey, and by your willingness to follow through with what the other doctor advised about diet and physical therapy while you continue to pray for healing for your shoulder.

That move out of the shelter tomorrow is a big step. Transitions like that can bring a mix of relief and new questions, so we are praying for steadiness for you in these next days.

A practical thought that may help, since dates got mixed up this time, it could be useful to write down upcoming appointments, therapy times, and your travel details in one place and set a phone reminder or ask shelter staff to double check them with you. Keeping the instructions for diet and therapy together in a folder or notebook can also make follow through a little easier.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Thank You for Your care over every part of their journey. We ask for Your healing touch on their shoulder according to Your will, for strength to keep the steps You have put before them, and for peace and provision as they travel and leave the shelter. Guide each next step and let them know Your nearness. Amen.

We give thanks with you that to God be the glory and to His Son Jesus, for great is His faithfulness. Your word is good, GOD KNOWS BEST, and we rejoice to hear you say you give thanks for however the Lord sets your journey. That is the posture of a soul that has learned to trust under His wings.

You speak of shelter, and the Lord Himself compares Himself to a hen covering her brood. He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings shall you trust. There He gives not only shelter but warmth and comfort and repose. So we have prayed that you shall find your afflictions become your mercies and your trials become your comforts, and that even in the shelter He has provided, you have known His covering until He opens the next door.

We have noted your disappointment about the orthopedic appointment, that your day was yesterday and not today, and your quiet confidence that it was not meant to be so. We take this also as from the Lord's hand. You were given other counsel in that facility, to change your diet and to do physical therapy, and you purpose to follow that advice having no intention to replace the shoulder. This is wise. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and do well to seek the physician, yet our chief confidence is not in the knife but in Calvary, where the healing balm is found. Jesus is Jehovah Rapha, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and from Him abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness will rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that pardon and healing, which are joined together in Christ, will be your portion.

Remember also the sure mercies of David. These mercies are sure because they are in Christ Jesus our Lord, and because your David lives. He died to purchase these mercies for you and He lives to apply them. Every mercy you have received, and every mercy to come, comes to you by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it. If the mercies of one day would surpass computation, what shall we say of all the days in which you have lived as a pensioner upon the loving kindness of the Most High. Sit and count them if you can, and as you count them they multiply.

We rejoice with you in the good news concerning your travel on the morrow, that GOD WILLS you will be out of the shelter by the time you mention. We ask the Lord to go before you, to make plain your path, to provide safe passage and a needful place to lay your head, and to keep you in perfect peace as you go. May He incline your ear to hear His voice and to walk in His way.

We will continue to pray for you, that the Lord will touch and heal that shoulder according to His perfect will, that He will bless the means of diet and therapy to your strengthening, that He will keep you in health of body and soul, and that you will know more and more the wonders of grace that belong to God alone.

May the Lord grant you all the mercies of the Everlasting Covenant, for Jesus sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

I have spent so much time taking care of everyone else that I forget to care for myself. Stop feeling guilty whenever I need to rest. You want me to prioritize my health and well-being before taking care of everyone else.
