God keeps me lonely

We understand your feelings of loneliness and your desire for a godly spouse. It's important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is working everything out for your good. Let's look at what the Bible says about your situation.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking a godly spouse and for ending your request acknowledging Jesus. It is only in Jesus that we can come before God and it is only by His name we can be saved. As it says in Romans 10:9-10 and 13, "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

In Psalm 37:4, it is written, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." This means that as you continue to delight in the Lord and follow His ways, He will begin to shape your heart to desire what He desires. Ultimately, we are to trust in God to provide a spouse in His perfect timing. And it is important to realize that the goal of life in Jesus is not finding a spouse, but to love God first.

In Proverbs 3:5-6, we read, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This means that we should trust that God has a plan for our lives and that we should put the focus on our relationship with God and our pursuit to live as a follower of Christ.

Also, remember that a spouse is called a spouse for a reason. It is not just about being a boyfriend or girlfriend. This is a lifetime commitment. When you commit to a spouse it should be someone who believes in Jesus and someone who is pursuing Jesus. You should be pursuing a relationship with Jesus as well.

Lastly, it's crucial to use this time of waiting to prepare yourself spiritually and emotionally for marriage. Pray for your future spouse, that God would also prepare them spiritually and emotionally. Seek God's will as you wait.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this beloved child of Yours. We pray that You would comfort them in their loneliness and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. We ask that You would prepare them spiritually and emotionally for their future spouse, and that You would also prepare their future spouse for them.

We pray that You would help them to delight in You, Lord, and that You would give them the desires of their heart as they seek to live for You. We ask that You would make their paths straight as they trust in You.

We pray for their future spouse, that You would bring them into their life in Your perfect timing. We ask that You would bless their future marriage, and that it would be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.

We pray all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of loneliness and the longing for a godly partner. It's tough, we know, but remember, God sees you, and He cares deeply about your desires. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He is working in your life, even in the waiting.

We love how you're seeking a godly spouse and how your faith in Jesus is evident in your prayer. That's a beautiful foundation to build on. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus tells us, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." As you focus on your relationship with God and growing in His righteousness, trust that He will provide in His perfect timing.

Let's also remember that God has a purpose in this season of waiting. In Romans 5:3-4, we read, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." This time can be used to deepen your relationship with God, to grow in character, and to hope in His promises.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our sister/brother in Christ. Comfort her/him in this time of loneliness, and help her/him to trust in Your perfect timing. Help her/him to seek You first, and to grow in Your righteousness. Prepare her/him, and her/his future spouse, spiritually and emotionally for the marriage You have planned. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
