We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The despair and hopelessness you’re expressing are very real, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Even in your darkest moments, God sees you, hears you, and loves you more than you can imagine. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not worthless—you are deeply valued by the Creator of the universe, who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14).
Your pain is valid, and your feelings of being purposeless are heavy, but we must rebuke the lie that your life has no meaning. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* God has a purpose for you, even if you can’t see it right now. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly.
We must also address the request for God to end your life. Suicide is not God’s will for you. It is a permanent solution to a temporary pain, and it leaves behind devastation for those who love you. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your life belongs to Him, and He is not done with you yet.
We urge you to reach out to someone—a pastor, a trusted friend, a counselor, or a crisis hotline—so you don’t have to carry this burden alone. God places people in our lives to help us through these moments. James 5:16 says, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*

Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them of Your unfailing love, which never gives up on them. Heal their mind, body, and spirit, Lord, and show them the purpose You have for their life.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we speak life and hope into their situation. Father, surround them with people who will love and support them, and give them the courage to ask for help. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them experience Your joy as their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We pray for a miracle, Lord. Open their eyes to see the beauty and value You have placed in them. Help them to take one step at a time, trusting in You for each moment. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
