God is the victor

Shalom Muslims want to Islamize the Western world, but Allah has no son, so he cannot be the God of the Bible. Could you please pray that God reveals His Son, Jesus Christ, to Muslims, that He directs these plans, that the "attack" rebounds upon them with full force, and that they ultimately become Christians—in Jesus' name? (Ps 9:16-17). Perhaps you might want to pray about this important matter from time to time? Thank you very much, and God bless you in Jesus' name!

We join you in this vital prayer and we agree that God is indeed the victor and that His truth will prevail. We share your burden for the Western world and for the many Muslims who have not yet known the love and truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. You speak rightly that the God of the Bible has revealed Himself as Father and Son, and this is central to the gospel. As it is written, Whoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also. 1 John 2:23 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.

We also take to heart the scripture you shared, Yahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God. Psalm 9:16-17. We pray that every plan that opposes the gospel and seeks to exalt a false way would be brought to nothing and would be snared in its own work, just as Haman was ensnared in the gallows he built for others, so that the glory of Christ may be seen all the more.

We pray together now in Jesus name. Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are sovereign and that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4. Lord, we ask that You pour out Your Spirit upon Muslims in the Western world and throughout the earth, that You would reveal Jesus Christ to them in dreams, in visions, through Your Word and through the bold witness of Your church. Remove the veil from their eyes and show them that Jesus is Your beloved Son who died on the cross for their sins and rose again. Draw them by Your love and convict them of sin and of righteousness and of judgment. Turn their hearts from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Acts 26:18. We ask that every scheme to Islamize the nations would fail and rebound upon itself, and that instead it would become an open door for the gospel to be proclaimed with power. Protect Your church, awaken the West to repentance, and raise up laborers who will speak the truth in love. We pray that many who once followed Islam will become joyful followers of Jesus Christ and will confess Him as Lord to the glory of God the Father. Let Your name be hallowed and Your kingdom come. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in this prayer, for we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who oppose us. Matthew 5:44. God does not desire the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Ezekiel 33:11. Therefore we do not pray with hatred but with holy love, desiring their salvation while also asking God to restrain evil and defend truth. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21. Keep praying from time to time as you asked, and we will also remember this matter before the Lord, asking that the church in the West would be strengthened to stand firm, to preach Christ crucified without fear, and to live in such a way that the beauty of the gospel is seen. The Lord is faithful and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We are grateful you shared this burden with us. Your longing to see Muslims come to know Jesus as the Son of God and Savior really comes through, and we share that longing. We know it can feel heavy to watch what is happening in the world and wonder how to pray.

We believe prayer matters, not as a way to ask for harm to come on others, but as bringing people before a merciful God who desires that none should perish and who is able to reveal His Son. We will keep joining you in asking that many Muslims would have a clear encounter with Jesus, that God would open eyes and hearts, and that He would guard and guide our communities in His wisdom and peace.

One simple way to keep this before the Lord is to choose a regular moment each week to pray by name for Muslims God has placed near you, neighbors, coworkers, or those you hear about, and to ask God to give you and other believers gentle opportunities to show the love of Christ in word and deed.

Father, we ask You to reveal Jesus Christ to Muslims who do not yet know Him, draw them to Yourself with kindness and truth, protect what is vulnerable, and lead us to be faithful witnesses. Work in Your perfect justice and mercy, and bring many into new life in Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request reflects a deep concern for the glory of Christ and for souls who do not yet know Him, and we join with you in bringing this before the throne of grace.

We affirm with you that there is salvation in no other name. As Scripture teaches, Jesus Christ is the Son of God, a living Person full of power to save, and the only Mediator between God and man. To have life we must come to Him, to trust Him, to yield ourselves to Him and to leave every other confidence. All other hopes and trusts must be forsaken, for there is no other way of salvation under heaven but by coming to Christ. It is upon His precious blood alone that we rely, and we desire that many others should be brought to do the same.

We hear your burden regarding plans to spread what is contrary to the gospel in the Western world. We do not ask God to bless any effort that would lead souls away from His Son, but we do ask Him in His sovereignty to frustrate every counsel that opposes His truth, to direct the affairs of nations according to His wisdom, and to turn the devices of darkness to nothing, that His name alone may be exalted. The Psalm you mention reminds us that the Lord is known by the judgment which He executes and that He is both just and holy. Yet the same Lord declares that He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.

Therefore our prayer is not for the destruction of persons, but for the display of both justice and mercy. We pray that the Lord would reveal His Son, Jesus Christ, to many who have been raised in Islam, that the veil would be taken away and they would see that Christ is precious, superlatively precious, and altogether worthy of trust. We pray that as they hear the gospel, they would come to Christ simply, as sinners, not bringing repentance as a price but coming to Him to receive repentance and a new heart, coming to be buried with Him and raised to newness of life.

We will gladly remember this matter before the Lord from time to time, asking that He would keep His Church faithful in confessing Christ openly and without shame, that He would protect the open door for the gospel among us, and that He would bring a great number of Muslim men and women to confess with joy that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

May the Lord grant that many who now are far off may be brought nigh by the blood of Christ, and may we all be found clinging to Christ and continuing to come to Him daily, upon whom alone we rely for life now and for eternity.

Let us pray together: O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, reveal Thy Son to those who know Him not. Show them that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no man cometh unto the Father but by Him. Frustrate every plan that would exalt itself against Thy truth, and in Thy great mercy turn many hearts to Thyself, that they may come to Christ and live, receiving pardon and justification through His blood. Keep Thy people faithful to confess Him before men, and let Thy gospel run and be glorified. In Jesus' name we ask this, Amen.
