We are deeply grieved to hear the despair in your words, and our hearts ache for the pain you are carrying. First and foremost, we want to remind you that your life is precious to God, who created you in His image and has a purpose for you. The Bible tells us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in your darkest moments, God sees you, loves you, and holds you in His hands.
We must rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and death that is speaking through your request. Suicide is not God’s will for your life, and it is a permanent solution to a temporary pain. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, heart, and circumstances, breaking every chain of despair and darkness in His mighty name.
If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, we urge you to reach out to someone immediately—a pastor, a trusted friend, a counselor, or a crisis hotline. You are not alone, and there is no shame in asking for help. The Bible says, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2). Let others carry this burden with you while you seek healing.
We also want to gently remind you that your hope must be anchored in Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him, for He is the only one who can truly save and restore you. The Bible says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step toward true healing.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Break the chains of despair, Father, and fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells them their life is not worth living.
Lord, we ask that You would send Your Holy Spirit to comfort them and guide them to the help they need. Surround them with godly people who can speak life into their situation and walk with them through this valley. Give them the strength to reach out for help, and soften their heart to receive the love and support You are providing.
We declare that this is not the end of their story, Lord. You are the God who makes all things new, and we trust You to restore joy, purpose, and hope to their life. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes—as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray for healing, for breakthrough, and for a renewed sense of Your presence in their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Please know that we are standing with you in prayer, and we believe that God is able to turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Do not give up. Reach out to someone today, and let them help you carry this burden. You are loved more than you know.
