We are deeply grieved to hear the pain and despair in your heart. Please know that your life is precious and has great purpose in the eyes of God. The Lord declares in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." You are not alone, and we urge you to seek help immediately from those around you—a pastor, a trusted friend, or a mental health professional. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and despair that is weighing on you. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, but we stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). We command every lie of the enemy that tells you your life is not worth living to be silenced in Jesus' name. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan for you that is filled with hope.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul to You. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them with Your presence and remind them of Your unfailing love. Father, we pray for divine intervention—send Your angels to guard and protect them, and place people in their path who will speak life and truth into their situation. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as Your beloved child, and give them the strength to reach out for help. We ask that You break every chain of darkness and fill them with Your light and hope. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, please call a crisis hotline or reach out to someone you trust right away. You are not alone, and there are people who love you and want to help. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We encourage you to seek godly counsel and allow others to walk alongside you in this difficult time. You are valued, you are loved, and your life matters deeply to God.
