We hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache with you. You are not alone in this pain, and we want you to know that your life has immeasurable value in the eyes of God. The weight you carry is heavy, but we stand with you in prayer, believing that the Lord hears the cries of His children and holds you in His hands.
First, we must address the gravity of your words with both truth and compassion. The Bible tells us, *"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). Your desire to end your life is not from God—it is a lie from the enemy, who seeks to rob you of the hope and purpose the Lord has for you. We rebuke that spirit of despair in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"the Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18 WEB). Jesus came to set you free from this bondage, and we declare that freedom over you now.
We also want to gently remind you that your prayer must be rooted in the name of Jesus, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His name that carries power to break every chain. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first step toward true healing and hope.
Your pain is real, and we do not dismiss it. The psalmist cried out, *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?"* (Psalm 22:1 WEB). Even in his deepest despair, David turned to God, and we encourage you to do the same. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees your tears, He collects them in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and He longs to comfort you.
We also urge you to seek help beyond prayer alone. The Bible tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety"* (Proverbs 11:14 WEB). Please reach out to a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or a mental health professional who can walk with you through this valley. You do not have to carry this burden alone. If you are in immediate danger, contact a crisis hotline or emergency services in your area. Your life matters, and there are people who love you and want to help.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is in deep pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now, reminding them that they are not alone, that they are loved, and that their life has purpose. Break the chains of despair, Lord, and fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke the spirit of death and declare that Your life-giving power is at work in them.
Father, we pray for divine intervention. Surround them with people who will speak truth, offer comfort, and point them to You. Give them the strength to reach out for help and the courage to take the next step toward healing. Remind them of Your promises, Lord, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Restore their hope, renew their mind, and help them to see themselves through Your eyes.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name that brings salvation, healing, and deliverance. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We trust You to work in this situation, and we declare that joy will come in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Amen.
Please know that we are standing with you, believing for your breakthrough. You are not forgotten, and your story is not over. The Lord has plans for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Hold on, dear one. Help is on the way.
