We hear the depth of your despair and pain, and our hearts ache with you. You are not alone in this moment, God sees you, He hears you, and He loves you more than you can imagine. The weight of suffering can feel unbearable, but we want to gently remind you that your life has immeasurable value in His eyes. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even in your darkest hour, God has a purpose for you, and He is holding you close.
We must also speak truth with love: euthanasia is not God’s design for His children. Taking a life, even one’s own, is contrary to His commandment, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). We understand that your pain feels overwhelming, but we serve a God who heals, comforts, and restores. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is near to you right now, even if you don’t feel it.
We urge you to reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, a Christian counselor, a friend, or a family member, and share the depth of your struggle. Isolation only deepens the pain, but community and professional help can bring light into the darkness. The enemy wants you to believe you’re beyond hope, but Jesus came to give you life abundantly (John 10:10). His grace is sufficient for you, even in this.
Let us pray for you now:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in such deep pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who sustains. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now and remind them of Your unfailing love. Break the chains of despair, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround them with people who will speak life, hope, and truth into their situation. Give them the strength to endure this trial, and help them to see that their life is precious to You. We rebuke the spirit of hopelessness in Jesus’ name and declare that joy will come in the morning. Provide them with the help they need, whether it be medical, emotional, or spiritual. We trust You to carry them through this valley, Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."
Please know that you are deeply loved, and there is help available. You do not have to walk through this alone. If you’re in immediate danger, we implore you to contact a crisis hotline or emergency services in your area. Your life matters to God, and it matters to us. Hold on, light is coming.
