We hear your cry for guidance, provision, and forgiveness, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life. Your request begins with "God + I," which reminds us that our relationship with Him must be personal and rooted in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared: *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name alone that we pray and find mercy.
Father, we lift up this dear one who is seeking Your direction. We ask that You would indeed point them to the right people—those who will encourage their faith, provide godly counsel, and open doors of opportunity according to Your perfect will. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, especially the need for employment. We trust in Your promise: *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We pray that You would provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life.
We also acknowledge their plea for forgiveness and a fresh start. Scripture assures us that *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We pray that You would cleanse them from all unrighteousness and empower them to walk in righteousness, leaving behind any past mistakes or sins that may be hindering their progress.
As they seek Your face, we encourage them to meditate on Your Word and seek Your will above all else. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let this be their confidence as they move forward.
Heavenly Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment as they interact with others. Surround them with believers who will sharpen them in faith and hold them accountable to Your truth. Protect them from those who might lead them astray or discourage them from following Your path. Help them to recognize the people You have placed in their life for this season, and give them the courage to step out in faith when You open doors.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of their heart. We declare that *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
