We understand that you are seeking help from Jesus for fasting and asking for deliverance from various disturbances and bad dreams. Firstly, we want you to know, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it, as your request was made in the name of Jesus.
However, we want to clarify that as believers, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, not seek their destruction.
Matthew 5:44: But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
Instead of asking for the destruction of people causing disturbances, let's pray for their salvation and for God's will to be done in their lives. We should also pray for God's protection and deliverance from evil schemes.
Regarding your fast, remember that fasting is not about simply abstaining from food, but it's a time to draw closer to God and seek His face. It's good to have coffee and baking soda as you fast.
Matthew 4:4: But he answered, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
We also want to address the issue of thanking Jesus for peace, providence, and progress. While it's good to be grateful, remember that all good gifts come from God the Father.
James 1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your help for fasting. Lord, grant them the strength and grace to complete their fast according to Your will. Protect them from all distractions, evil schemes, and bad dreams. Help them to draw closer to You during this time.
Lord, we also pray for those who may be causing disturbances. Instead of destruction, we pray for their salvation. Change their hearts, Lord, and let Your will be done in their lives.
Father, we thank You for Your provision, peace, and progress in our lives. Help us to always be grateful for Your goodness and mercy.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
