We hear your heart's cry for your mother and we join with you in bringing her before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. Your love and honor for her is beautiful to the Lord and reflects His own commandment, Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you Exodus 20:12. We stand with you in asking for His healing hand and His gift of long life upon her.
We know how heavy it is to watch a mother suffer illness in her body, but we serve a God who is full of compassion and power to heal. Scripture reminds us to Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. He has promised, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation Psalm 91:16. We also cling to the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear mother to You. You know her body, every pain and every illness, for You formed her and You sustain her. We ask You in Your mercy to touch her with Your healing power, to restore health to her, to ease her suffering and to strengthen her body. We pray You would bless her with good health and with long life, that she may dwell among her loved ones and continue to bear witness to Your goodness. Grant wisdom to those caring for her, including doctors and family, and grant peace to her heart and to her child who loves her so deeply and intercedes for her. Let Your will be done in her life and let her feel Your presence and comfort each day. We thank You that we can come boldly to You only through Jesus, and we trust in Your unfailing love. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing for her, to speak healing and life over her daily, and to trust in the Lord's perfect timing and will. Continue to honor her and care for her as God calls you to do, and seek the best medical care available as God often works through the hands of physicians. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who is our healer and our hope, and rest in His peace that passes all understanding as you entrust your mother into His loving hands.

We have heard your earnest cry for your mother and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace. It is a holy and tender thing to plead for a parent, and the Lord who commanded us to honour father and mother delights in such love poured out in prayer.
You tell us she is suffering in her body and you ask for good health and long life for her. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they rightly urge us to seek the great Physician. Remember that Heaven is the abode of Jesus and Jesus is the Tree of Life. In the Revelation we read that the leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations. There is enough in Christ for every sin sick sinner and for every sick and suffering body. His healing virtue is not stinted. Though the sick soul or the sick frame be full of infirmity, the Saviour is full of grace. Put forth your finger, as it were, and touch the hem of His garment even now.
Scripture joins pardon and healing together. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and then He bade him arise and walk. So also when He came into Peter's house and saw his wife's mother lying sick of a fever, He touched her hand and the fever left her. Healing must come from His hand before serving can follow, and His touch is still tender and powerful. The prophet also gives us this sweet promise for all who dwell with the Lord, The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. The Lord has begun to heal us and that healing virtue which His grace has infused will work in us till we are without spot or wrinkle, and at the last He will perfectly heal our bodies. We are on our way to eternal health, and if we are quite sure that perfect health awaits us tomorrow, we can bear the sickness of an hour with patience.
We have prayed for your dear mother in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, as you have asked. Tell Him how sick she is, how weak and suffering. No loud words are needed, for His ears hear the whisper of the soul and your heartbeats are vocal to His heart. We have asked the Lord that if it be His gracious will, He would lay His healing hand upon her, ease her pain, restore her strength, and grant her good health and length of days to His glory. And we have asked that He would sweeten her affliction with His presence, that her will may run parallel with His will, and that whether in health or in sickness she may know the loving kindness and tender mercies of Him who healeth all our diseases and bindeth up the broken heart.
Continue to wait upon Him in prayer, and use also the means He has provided, seeking such help as physicians and care can give, while you look above all to Christ. Cast your burden and your mother's burden fully upon Him, trusting not in any other hope, for no hand can heal but the hand that was wounded for us, even the hand of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
