We join with you in bringing your body, soul, and spirit before the Lord and we ask for His healing touch upon you as you struggle with this coughing. We serve a God who is our healer and who cares for every part of us.
We are reminded in Scripture that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that He has said I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26. We also cling to the promise that by His wounds you were healed in 1 Peter 2:24 and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15. For your whole being we pray as it is written may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Thessalonians 5:23.
We notice your request asks God for healing but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently share this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. To receive healing for our soul and spirit we must first be reconciled to God through faith in Him, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior if you have not already, for He is the source of forgiveness, peace, and eternal life, and the one through whom we boldly approach God for healing.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the discomfort and weariness that comes with constant coughing and You see the desire for healing in body, soul, and spirit. We ask in Jesus name that You would lay Your healing hand upon their lungs and airways, ease the irritation, and restore health and strength. We pray that You would give wisdom to any doctors or treatment sought and bring complete restoration. Father, we also pray for healing and refreshing for their soul and spirit, that You would forgive sins, cleanse the heart, renew the mind, and fill them with Your peace and presence. Draw them closer to Jesus, strengthen their faith, and let them know Your love and comfort in this time of need. We ask this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, to rest as you are able, to stay hydrated, and to seek medical care if this cough persists or worsens, for God often works through the wisdom He has given to physicians. Trust in His goodness and His timing, for even when healing is not instant He is with you and working for your good. Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7.

Your request for healing has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for your body, your soul and your spirit.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but as it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick He showed that pardon and healing are one, placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed upon His people. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek a physician, and we thank God for such helps, yet we know that without the Divine power we crumble, and it is the Lord alone who must do the healing work in body and in soul.
We pray that you would tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. May the great Physician lay His hand upon you and grant relief from this coughing, restore strength to your lungs and to your frame, and in His wisdom accomplish His purposes without violating the nature He has made. At the same time we pray for that deeper healing which changes the life blood and makes the nature other than it was before, that if there be any sin to be forgiven, you may know the forgiveness that brings healing with it, and may prove that His salvation will perfectly heal both soul and body in His time.
We ask the Lord to heal you and to keep you, to pardon you and to restore you, till the healing virtue which His grace has infused shall work in you health and cure. We have heard your request for healing from coughing and we are praying with you for your body, soul and spirit.
We ask our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ to have mercy on you and to bring healing according to His wisdom and love. We pray that He who is the true physician would ease this cough, restore strength to your body, give you rest and breath without pain, and grant peace to your soul and growth to your spirit. We pray that He would draw you closer to Himself through this trial and make you whole in Christ, for the health of the soul is the greatest blessing, and from it flows strength for the body also.
As you wait on the Lord, continue to trust Him and to walk faithfully with Him, keeping His ways and obeying His word as a patient follows the counsel of a good physician. If this cough continues, please also seek care from a doctor, for God often works through those means as part of His healing treatment. Whether healing comes quickly or over time, know that He hears the prayers of His children and works all things for the good of those who love Him.

Your request for healing has been heard and I am joining you in prayer for your body, soul and spirit as you deal with this persistent cough.
One passage that often comes to mind is the personal greeting where John expressed his heartfelt desire for his friend Gaius, that his physical health would be as strong as the health of his soul. That was not written as a blanket promise that everyone will always be well if they have enough faith, but as a loving wish. Yet it does show something true and important. God cares about your whole person, and there is a real connection between the inner life and the outer life. Scripture says a joyful heart is like good medicine, and we now know how true that is. Peace, hope and a mind at rest can help the body, while fear and heaviness can wear the body down. So as we pray for your lungs and throat, we also pray for peace and strength in your soul and spirit.
I want you to know that I believe God still heals today and that He cares about your physical need. When Jesus walked on earth He never used His power to meet His own needs, but He freely used it to meet the needs of others. He healed the leper, the servant of the centurion, Peter's mother in law, and crowds of people who came to Him in the evening. Matthew saw in those healings the fulfillment of what Isaiah foretold, that the Messiah would bear our sicknesses and infirmities, not only our sins. That shows the heart of the Lord toward our bodies.
At the same time there is much about healing we do not fully understand. Scripture is honest that healing does not come in the same way or at the same speed in every case. Sometimes Jesus healed with a single word, sometimes with a touch, and in one case a blind man was healed gradually and needed a second touch before he saw clearly. Sometimes healing comes instantly, sometimes it comes step by step through the natural processes God has already placed in our bodies. Those processes are not less divine because they are natural. God created them. Any true healing, whether sudden or gradual, is from His hand. And we also see that the apostle Paul prayed three times for his own thorn in the flesh to be removed, and the answer he received was not removal but sustaining grace. To assume God must heal every illness immediately in this life is not what Scripture teaches, and we do not always know why some are restored quickly while others wait.
We also do not need a show or a great emotional display to receive from Him. God is not moved by outward posture or by trying to do some great thing to earn His favor. What matters is the posture of the heart, coming simply and humbly to receive His grace. Like Naaman, we sometimes want to do something impressive, but God asks us to simply trust and receive. And like the woman who quietly touched the hem of His garment, faith can reach out to Him even without spectacle.
So I am praying for you now that the Lord will touch your body and bring relief from this coughing, whether by His immediate hand or through the healing processes He has built into you and through wisdom for any care you receive. I pray also for healing and refreshing in your mind and emotions, and for strength and nearness to Jesus in your spirit. May He give you rest, comfort your heart, and fill you with His peace as you trust Him.
