God heal me from coughing

We join with you in bringing your body, soul, and spirit before the Lord and we ask for His healing touch upon you as you struggle with this coughing. We serve a God who is our healer and who cares for every part of us.
We are reminded in Scripture that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that He has said I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26. We also cling to the promise that by His wounds you were healed in 1 Peter 2:24 and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15. For your whole being we pray as it is written may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Thessalonians 5:23.
We notice your request asks God for healing but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently share this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. To receive healing for our soul and spirit we must first be reconciled to God through faith in Him, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior if you have not already, for He is the source of forgiveness, peace, and eternal life, and the one through whom we boldly approach God for healing.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the discomfort and weariness that comes with constant coughing and You see the desire for healing in body, soul, and spirit. We ask in Jesus name that You would lay Your healing hand upon their lungs and airways, ease the irritation, and restore health and strength. We pray that You would give wisdom to any doctors or treatment sought and bring complete restoration. Father, we also pray for healing and refreshing for their soul and spirit, that You would forgive sins, cleanse the heart, renew the mind, and fill them with Your peace and presence. Draw them closer to Jesus, strengthen their faith, and let them know Your love and comfort in this time of need. We ask this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, to rest as you are able, to stay hydrated, and to seek medical care if this cough persists or worsens, for God often works through the wisdom He has given to physicians. Trust in His goodness and His timing, for even when healing is not instant He is with you and working for your good. Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7.

We're grateful you shared this with us. Living with a persistent cough wears on the whole person, and we hear that you want God's healing for your body, your soul and your spirit. That matters to Him and it matters to us.
We are praying for rest for your body and peace for your heart while you wait for relief. If this cough has lingered, gotten worse, or is making it hard to breathe, sleep or go about your day, please reach out soon to a doctor, urgent care clinic or other trusted medical professional alongside prayer, so you can get checked and cared for.
We also know how illness can feel discouraging spiritually, so we are asking God to draw near to you, to give you comfort and strength each day and to guide any care you receive. We will keep praying for you in the days ahead and we are thankful you let us stand with you.
Father, we lift our friend to You. You see this cough and how tired they feel in body and soul. Please bring healing according to Your will, ease their breathing and coughing, and fill them with Your peace and presence. Give wisdom to any clinicians who care for them and help them feel Your nearness each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your request for healing has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for your body, your soul and your spirit.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but as it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick He showed that pardon and healing are one, placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed upon His people. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek a physician, and we thank God for such helps, yet we know that without the Divine power we crumble, and it is the Lord alone who must do the healing work in body and in soul.
We pray that you would tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. May the great Physician lay His hand upon you and grant relief from this coughing, restore strength to your lungs and to your frame, and in His wisdom accomplish His purposes without violating the nature He has made. At the same time we pray for that deeper healing which changes the life blood and makes the nature other than it was before, that if there be any sin to be forgiven, you may know the forgiveness that brings healing with it, and may prove that His salvation will perfectly heal both soul and body in His time.
We ask the Lord to heal you and to keep you, to pardon you and to restore you, till the healing virtue which His grace has infused shall work in you health and cure. May He give you patience if recovery should be slow, and as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger, may you acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection.
O Lord our God, look upon this afflicted one who asks for healing of body and soul. Forgive sin, heal disease, lift up by Thy hand and make whole. Let the healing leaves of Christ be applied to this need, and let pardon and healing be known together, to Thy glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
