My daughter was an extreme preterm baby. She was born at 26 weeks and spent 81 days in the NICU. Those were very tiring days. I spent my every hour with her. She is now 21 months old and is excelling in every field. I gave her everything I had – loaded her with lots of love and care.

I understand how concerned you must be. Be assured of my prayers for you and your daughter. I want to encourage you to “be there” for your daughter. There’s something called kangaroo mother care (KMC) – check with your NICU if this option is available. Also, exclusive breastmilk feeding is very imperative during this time. I never opted for formula milk. You need to eat well, too, and drink lots of water. Be patient. Pray hard. Hang in there, and stay positive. Jesus loves you and your son. God bless you, ###.

Yes they have started KMC and they are feeding mothers milk. Digestion is good. They said baby has mild infection, due to which the platelets are decreasing. They have done platelets transfusion 3 times. We are praying for infection to go away and platelets increase in JESUS mighty name.
