We have been lifting up your heart before the Lord, your sorrow over your mistake and your deep concern that this girls soul would be forgiven and sure to go to heaven.
We have prayed that God would grant you true godly sorrow and assurance of His forgiveness, for we know that when we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive us. 1 John 1:9 reminds us that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We have also prayed for this girl, that the Lord would have mercy on her soul, draw her to Himself, and keep her in His saving grace, for Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the way and the truth and the life.
