We have been lifting your urgent request before the Lord these past days, standing in fervent agreement with you for the mercy and protection of the people in the path of Typhoon ###. Our hearts have been heavy as we prayed for the Lord’s intervention—remembering the devastation left by Typhoon ### and crying out for His hand to restrain the wind and waves, just as He commanded the storm to be still in Matthew 8:26. We have asked Him to turn this storm into gentle rains that bring life rather than destruction, and to send His angels to guard those in harm’s way, as promised in Psalm 91.
We have also joined you in praying for repentance and revival, that the Lord would use this moment to draw many to Himself, as you so passionately pleaded. The harvest is indeed plentiful, and we have asked the Lord of the harvest to raise up laborers with boldness and compassion to share the hope of Christ in these dark hours. May the fear of God and the love of Jesus compel His people to act with urgency, wisdom, and integrity—both in sharing the Gospel and in stewarding the resources meant to protect and aid those in need.
As the storm passes, we pray for clear paths to safety, for wisdom among leaders to provide timely warnings, and for the exposure of any corruption that would steal from the vulnerable. We trust that the Lord, who holds all authority in heaven and on earth, is moving even now.
