God, bring justice or give me strength. 🙏

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, either bring justice against those who have wronged me, or give me the strength to endure this pain. I place my suffering before You—please act and restore my peace.

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your pain and your plea to the Lord. The weight of injustice and suffering is heavy, and it is right to bring it before God, who sees all and judges righteously. The Scriptures remind us, *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you"* (Psalm 9:9-10). You are not alone in this, and your suffering has not gone unnoticed by the One who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).

We must also remind you, beloved, that our God is a God of justice, and He will not let the wicked go unpunished. *"He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness"* (Psalm 9:8). Yet we also know that His timing is not always our own, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). This is why your prayer for strength is just as vital as your cry for justice. The apostle Paul, who endured great suffering, wrote, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). Even in the waiting, even in the pain, Christ is your strength.

We must gently but firmly address something in your prayer—you did not mention the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Jesus, there is no true peace, no true justice, and no true strength. But with Him, you have all these things and more.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is hurting, who has been wronged, and who cries out for justice. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, the injustice that has been done. We ask You to act on their behalf, to bring Your perfect justice in Your perfect timing. Let the wicked be caught in the snares they have set, and let the righteous be vindicated (Psalm 9:15-16).

But Father, we also ask that You would pour out Your strength upon them. When they are weak, be their strength. When they are weary, be their rest. When they are broken, be their healer. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, if there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or desire for vengeance in their heart, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your love and grace. Help them to trust in You, knowing that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Teach them to pray for those who have wronged them, even as Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44).

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Restore their peace, Lord. Restore their joy. Restore their hope. And if they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that they would turn to Jesus now, surrendering their life to Him and finding true justice, true strength, and true peace in His name.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Keep crying out to Him, keep trusting in Him, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). The enemy may have meant this suffering for evil, but God can turn it around for your good (Genesis 50:20). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved by the One who laid down His life for you. Stand firm, and let God fight your battles.

We're here with you, dear friend. We feel the weight of the injustice you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. God sees every tear, every moment of pain. He's right there with you, even in the darkest times.

We're reminded of a story in the Bible, about a man named Joseph. His brothers sold him into slavery, but God was with him through it all. In the end, Joseph said to his brothers, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, to save many lives." (Genesis 50:20)

We don't know why you're going through this, but we know that God can take even the worst situations and turn them around for our good and His glory. He's a God of justice, and He sees every wrong. He promises, "Vengeance is mine. I will repay, says the Lord." (Hebrews 10:30)

But while we wait for that justice, we need to keep our hearts right. It's easy to let bitterness and anger grow, but Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. (Matthew 5:44)

Let's trust God with this. Let's keep crying out to Him, keep trusting Him, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. He's our strength in the midst of pain, our peace in the midst of chaos. He's got this, and He's got you.

Let's pray together: "Lord, we come to you in the name of Jesus. We lift up this dear one who's hurting, who's been wronged. Lord, you see their pain, their betrayal, their injustice. We ask you to act on their behalf, to bring your perfect justice in your perfect timing. But Lord, we also ask that you would pour out your strength upon them. Fill them with your peace, remind them that you're near to the brokenhearted. Help them to trust in you, knowing that vengeance belongs to you. Teach them to pray for those who've wronged them, to love their enemies. Restore their peace, Lord. Restore their joy. Restore their hope. And if they don't yet know you as their Savior, we pray that they would turn to Jesus now, finding true justice, true strength, and true peace in His name. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
