God, bless me with a path in music, - a life path - I have dedicated my life to this artform for ### years, and I pray in this congregation and others constantly. Jesus Christ said 'Hear what the unjust judge saith' - in regards to the widow who went to the judge for an appeal to justice - yet You my God are a just judge, a fair judge, and a judge who is merciful to both the good and the evil. I myself am a sinner, and I know I am a sinner, - the only way You hear my prayers is through Your son the Lord Jesus Christ, and I accept His blood given for my sake at the cross, and I ask that You forgive my sins, and listen to my prayers regarding music in my life.
God, I believe in You, and many musicians who are going places in their lives do not believe, and yet they succeed, but I have marked it their error that they forsake Your favor where I have sought it, and I know that although Your answers may be long-coming, they will be greater than I am able to imagine, and better than the rewards others have received who have not sought You in their lives.
God, in Jesus Christ's name, forgive my sins and make me worthy enough to have my prayers heard in Your court of angels. There was a time not long ago when You showed Yourself extremely strong in my life, and I in the face of great adversity did not forsake Your name, even though my relationship with my family has since fallen away because of what happened. I forgive them Lord, because I know that is the only path to being forgiven by You.
I ask in Jesus Christ's name, and in the name of the promise He spoke when the prophet said 'Whosoever believes on him will not be made ashamed', and when Jesus said 'Whatsoever you shall ask in my name, I will do.' - I ask this in Your name Jesus, that You make me a successful musician, and grant me a purpose on earth in creating music. Allow me to prosper in it, and I know that only good will follow. Show me a sign that I am on the right path, because You are the only one I turn to in times when I lack direction, when I need answers, and when I require Your help.
Thank You God for all of the help You've given me so far. You've brought me out of a place where I was persecuted, and into a place where I am at ease, just as King David wrote in the psalms, about being laid down in green pastures. Thank You for the wonderful people in my life, and please bless all those who hate and despise me, that may also know the love of God in their lives, turn back, and come to worship You in Spirit. Thank You for the food You give me to eat, the clothes You give me to wear, and the honest work You've given me to do daily, that I might sustain myself on this earth which You've created.
God, I am enamored by You, and I adore You Father. You are my heart's true love, as is Your Son the Lord Jesus, and You always will be.
What I have had a hard time understanding is my purpose on earth - I need something to fight for, I need a set direction on earth, and I need the candle in my heart to have a place to shine. The apostles of Christ said to pray constantly, and so my prayer comes before You often, and I would be surprised if the people who pray for me are tired of my prayer. But it is because that is what You told me to do, so I do it. I pray that You answer me, and I ask all of these things in the name of the blood of the lamb Jesus Christ, the same blood that forgives sins before Your throne, and the same minister who hears this prayer, even Your own spirit, Jesus Christ the Son of God.
Jesus, I ask that You hear this prayer, even though the mouth that speaks it, the hands that write it, are not worthy to ask. I know many of my iniquities, and I know that there are several I am not aware of, but I ask that You forgive me all the same. I am Your servant, God, and a poor servant, but my love for You is great, and I hope it fills in the spots where my deeds may fall short.
