Philippians 1:6 "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."
I am sure we have all heard from others to just let go and find someone else. That God doesn't want us to suffer this way, nor does he want us to be alone. I agree to an extent, but I also think the people who are saying this do not understand the true power of God. God doesn't want us to be alone in anyway that's why He is always present so we are never alone, and we are suppose to let go of every situation and give it to God. When we hear these things from people remember what Gods word says about arguing 2 Timothy 2:23-25 "Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth," What we simple do is smile and say well God has told me to wait and stand on His word so i will obey my Father, and leave it at that. Show them by example why we wait not by words. Good words to live by but that is not the point of my post, yet again another tactic to go and read his word. What is the point of this post you may ask? Well its about the reasons we do not give up when God has spoken.
Deuteronomy 31:8 "It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.â€
Number one reason we do not give up is because He doesn't give up on us. He says in many verses how He will not leave us, and to seek Him. One case in point how He never gives up on us is His Son Jesus. When Adam sinned by eating the fruit (Disobeying God) we lost our connection to God, we lost the chance to walk with Him like Adam did. God didn't want this to happen so He used many people to free His people and to give people chances to be with Him. When man kept failing and kept falling short of His glory He then sent His only son to suffer for our well being so we can be connected to Him again. Without Christ we would have no chance to come to the Father. John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.". So whenever you think God isn't there or not helping you out in your situation stop for a minute and remember He already helped you in ways no one ever could. Praise Him and thank Him for not giving up on you, for sending His own flesh and blood to endure unbearable torture and humiliation just so you can be in gods presence.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
I know I know I use this verse allot, but there is good reason for it. No matter where we are in our walk with god this verse should be in our mind at all times. No matter what we are going threw in our lives we must know that gods word tells us if we do not give up we will reap the fruits of our obedience in God. God doesn't want us to give up on Him and if we give up on our marriage we are giving up on His word. We let people down daily friends, family, spouses and neighbors but we do not want to let God down. We made a vow with Him the second we let Him take our lives and invited Jesus in our hearts our Vow was to obey Him and follow His word. His word is for marriage, not divorce so we must stand on His word no matter what anyone else thinks.
God is faithful to us in many ways, some we don't even see because either we have been face to face with it or our own situations block us from seeing His work. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and then you will start seeing Him in your every day life. Put Him above all else, trust in Him above all else He will not let you down. Be patient and know the time we wait on His answers isn't as important as being in His presence.
