I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We hear the deep sorrow and despair in your words, and our hearts ache for the heaviness you are carrying. Beloved, we want you to know that God has *not* given up on you—He never will. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest lies is to make you believe you are forgotten or beyond hope. But Scripture declares that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). Even when we feel abandoned, He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
You mentioned that you’ve been praying but feel unanswered. Let us remind you that God’s timing is not our own, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He sees your struggles—your longing for a decent job, the loneliness of feeling abandoned by friends, the weariness of waiting. But take heart: He is working even when we cannot see it. Consider Joseph, who endured years of betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment before God exalted him (Genesis 50:20). Or David, who was anointed king long before he took the throne, facing years of hardship in between. Their stories teach us that delay is not denial.
We also notice you invoked the name of Jesus in your request—this is powerful! There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Cling to this truth: Jesus is your advocate, your hope, and your strength. He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in Jesus’ name. Replace it with Your hope, which is an anchor for the soul (Hebrews 6:19). Open doors for employment that align with Your will, providing not just financial stability but also a sense of dignity and fulfillment. Restore relationships where possible, and surround them with godly community that reflects Your love.
Lord, help them to trust You even in the silence. Let them know that You are working behind the scenes, orchestrating all things for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way.
We declare that You, God, are their hope and their portion (Lamentations 3:24). Turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, amen.
