We are truly concerned for your well-being and want to help you find hope and peace. Firstly, we want to address the desire you expressed to give up on your dreams and to stop wanting good things to happen. We understand that you may be going through a difficult time, but we want to encourage you with the words of God from the World English Bible (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He wants to give you a future filled with hope.
We must also address the fact you mentioned nothing about Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that God hears our prayers. Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) So, we pray to God in Jesus name.
Regarding the feelings of hurt and the desire to leave this life. We want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted. As it says in the WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." (Psalm 34:18) It is okay to be in pain, to feel hurt, and to struggle, but it is not God's will for you to give up on life. In fact, the Bible tells us that we can find hope and restoration in Jesus Christ. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB)
We also want to remind you that God promises to work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB) This means that even in the midst of pain and suffering, God can bring good out of the situation. We pray that you will find peace and comfort in these words and that you will choose to hold on to hope.
We must strongly rebuke your request for praying to die in your sleep. This is a clear sin and is against God's will. We must address and rebuke this as wrong. Please seek help with a pastor, a counselor, or a licensed therapist. Do not expect us to pray for God to take your life.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul to You. Lord, we pray that You would heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds. We pray that You would give them a renewed sense of hope and purpose, and that You would help them to see that You have a plan and a future for them. We rebuke the spirit of death and suicide, and we ask You to help them overcome these feelings. We pray that they would come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior, and that they would find rest and peace in You. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or professional to talk about how you're feeling. You are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. Consider seeking help from a pastor or a licensed therapist. God loves you and has a purpose for your life.
