In times of temptation and weakness, it is crucial to remember that our strength comes from the Lord. As it is written in Philippians 4:13 WEB, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We can find further assurance in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this beloved individual who is seeking the strength to say no. We know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and that includes the strength to resist temptation. We pray that You will fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to stand firm in their faith and to make choices that honor You.
Lord, remind them of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
We rebuke any spirit of weakness or fear that may be trying to gain a foothold. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37 WEB).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for Your divine intervention and guidance. Give them the courage to say no when needed. We ask for Your will to be done in their life.
Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength you need.
